I bought this XXL bed approx 6 months ago. I underestimated the size and got quite annoyed with how much room it took up. I contemplated donating it, but our old doggos LOVED IT! So we dealt with it. I'm writing this review now because a few days ago one of our dogs lost complete function in her legs suddenly. So while she's being treated for possible tick borne illness we knew we couldn't keep her in our bed for fear of her falling out. So I dragged this oversized dog bed into the bedroom and slept with her on it so she didn't feel alone. I had the best sleep I've had in years. I'm 43 and constantly wake up in pain and gone through multiple different mattress over the years. One night sleeping on this dog bed and I am considering buying another one and dragging our king size mattress to the curb. So if you want a bed for your senior dogs that will give them the best support and most comfort ?...this is the one!!! And if you struggle with discomfort sleeping, consider buying it for yourself :-)

Max is about 37 inches long when he’s blobbed down laying in his usual sleep position. I was weighing to either buy the large, but something told me to grab the XL… I’m glad I did. Max would’ve fitted on the L but just about. But the XL gives him just enough room to throw his bully tantrums in, sleep and munch on the occasional bone. He’s been sleeping on it for about two weeks now; the build quality feels pretty nice, materials too. It’s well put together. The foam is also well-balanced. Max weighs about 60 pounds, and his body doesn’t compress is all the way to the ground. I washed and dried the gray sheet today, it held up nicely. Until now, it’s been a pretty welcome dog bed. Will update if things change. Good purchase all and all.

Our dog loves it so much, he already tried using it as I was setting it up! We have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Large size fits perfectly for him. Originally, I got the Med size but it was too small. If only they had a longer list of breeds for each size to avoid going through the process of returns. I like the fact it's soft, it's year round (soft side for colder months, flip over for hotter months), and it's washable! The last dog bed he had was so dirty, my dog would start to smell.

Our dog really loves this bed as she is in it all the time. The cover is washable and the cushion is thick and soft. She doesn't chew or tear stuff up anymore because she 8years old, so couldn't rate that. We really wanted to give her a comfy spot and this is perfect!

This is the second time I’ve purchased this bed because my dog loves his other one so much. It’s held up like new after 2 years. He’s an 80 pound treeing walker coonhound and he can stretch all the way out on his new bed. I see this same bed being sold by multiple brands for different prices and sizes but they all look to be sturdy

Not too long ago, took home a 7yr-old 60 lb. husky/pit mix. Wanted her to be comfortable when lying about. Bought three of these, one for each of the rooms she's likely to be sitting in. She knows that's her place and prefers to lay on this rather than floor or furniture. Removing the cover is easy for washing. Am fortunate the dog doesn't chew on it or try to destroy it, so I suspect I'll get plenty of mileage from it. If Dog was any bigger, this would probably be too small of a bed for her.

I put a blanket over it for extra protection but it’s good for the price considering the cost of dog beds. It a large rectangle of memory foam that fits snug inside the cover which zips, so you can take it off and wash it when necessary! I love it!

I love to lay right in front of my fire place and soak up the heat in the winter. I have hard wood floors and it hurts to lay on without pillows. I did some research into the Plufl (human dog bed) but it was $400. I am 5'4 and 110lbs so I purchased the xlarge dog bed and can lay on my side or back without hitting the floor. Well worth the purchase ($40) to curl up on a soft pillow by the fire with a good book and some tea.
