I bought the large size orthopedic dog bed for my 86Lb German Shepard. Being a large dog and a German Shepard, it’s not good for her to lay on a hard floor. We’ve looked at many dog beds trying to find one that fits our standards, and this one is exactly what we’ve been searching for. It supports all her pressure points with the thick egg crated pad, and the cover is made of durable high quality materials. We had no problems getting the cover over the pad since the zipper goes along two edges. , which will make it easy to take off to be washed. My dog loved this bed but sadly he threw up all over it within the first week, which never happens. So thinking it was waterproof, I take off the cover to wash it, and the entire memory foam (the inside piece) was saturated with throw up and there isn't an easy way to wash it so I had to throw it away. My understanding was it is waterproof and it isn't, just to clarify so this doesn't happen to someone else. Very sad as it was a great dog bed.

This bed is awesome! The Egg shell foam insert is nice and thick, the outer cover has a soft side to keep pets warm during the Winter, and the other side will keep them cool in the Summer. The outer cover is simple to wash! I've had to wash mine already because my dog got into the trash and got gunk all over his bed , which I found when I got home from work, not sure how long it sat there on his bed , but I work 8 hours, I put it straight into the washer, and it came clean without any issues, Put the foam back in with out any problems (Foam is not washable), and it's back to being ''fought over" The cats keep staring my dog down when he's on it, to make him uncomfortable and get off it so they can take it, Or they just come up to him and smack him a few times and make him run off so they can steal his bed - they all have their own beds, but you know nothing is better than the one someone else is already using! I highly recommend this bed no matter the age of your pet, Mine is 4 1/2 and this bed is roughly 3" thick, he is about 21" high, so he just steps right on and off it, so as long as it doesn't get torn up by the time he gets to the stage of having issues getting up and down, this bed will be there for him, and he shouldn't have any issues getting in or out of it.

A+++ company. I will recommend these guys to friends and family. The dog bed came in two parts, the removable dog bed cover and the egg-crate foam. “Assembly” was easy. Easiest dog bed cover I’ve ever installed because the cover itself can open on three whole sides making slipping the foam in easy breezy. The cover itself seems high quality and looks like it will last for years. Quality stitching and zipper component. I have a 90lb staffordshire terrier X blue nose cross, who fits wonderfully across the surface area of the bed. I got the XL because he is a big boy. It’s plenty large enough. The only recommendation I would make is if you have a very large or dense dog (100lbs+ or like in my case heavily muscled and relatively compact) and plan on keeping this bed on hard floor, make sure the thickness of the foam itself is what you are expecting. Communication with the company and Jessica was stellar—she went above and beyond with her customer service. I may purchase a cat bed just because of the amazing experience.

I’m very impressed with this bed sense is was only $30 got it because our 10 month old GSP just started chewing his beds idk way. But my fear was is wouldn’t be firm enough, he’s already 65lbs, but it is! And I can take the cover off to wash is awesome, sense I have allergies, only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is because I wish the cover was also water proof. And for the people giving this bed poor reviews because you dog chewed it up on the first day that’s not the beds fault it’s the dogs correct them. I’m not letting our dog alone with it until he kicks this habit watch your dog.

Be sure large dog bed is a perfect bed for our Daisy! She absolutely loves it! The bed came well packaged and has a removable cover, for easy washing. The material is quite soft and so far so good on being chew resistant. (Daisy chews on everything) Will definitely be recommending this to a few of my friends, for their fur babies.

I had high hopes for these beds for our two big dogs (>100 lbs). Upon arrival and assembly, they were the correct length for their crates, but were 2-3” too deep. I was willing to overlook this, until I washed them the first time and they tore. Not worth the money for a shoddy cover and a simple piece of foam that can be purchased at Hobby Lobby or JoAnns.

Completely different than what is pictured above. Zipper only unzips 1 side. Ordered a jumbo but the foam was MUCH too big. Had to double over the foam to get it in the dog bed. Jumbo is WAY too small for my lab. Don’t waste your money on this.
