I don’t know of any topper that’s going to stay on perfectly, it does shift a bit and I end up pushing it back against the wall but there’s probably not much one can do about that. I got the super firm as my mattress is just way too soft, it’s served me well so far and has maintained its shape and support. This is very firm and it stays firm (often the foam gets squishy once it is warmed by the body). I instantly felt my spine and joints unwind. Our old topper was probably over 10 years old and made me sore, sometimes to the point of waking me in the middle of the night with pain in the lower back or glutes. Oh what a relief this new one was! It's not quite "4 inches," more like a 2x4 (3.5" nominal). I was dubious about the support or could offer when I first unfurled it and was disappointed when it didn't puff up much, as our previous one was probably closer to 5--6" thick. That really doesn't matter though. Like in said, it's super firm and supportive. Even my 9 year old son said it felt really nice like a "hotel bed." My wife objected at first but after the first night, admitted she slept really well! ... show more

Loses its firmness after 2 - 3 months of use. I'm 5'10, weight 175lbs so not particularly heavy but now when I sleep on this mattress I sink into it like pudding, the sinkage bends my back and neck while I sleep and I wake up in pain, hours before I want to be awake. They only give you 1 months to return it, I now understand that's purposeful. No way to get your money back when it goes bad on you. ... show more
