This is a good quality foam topper. It is low density and quite cushy. I can easily squish it together with two fingers, so you will sink into it all the way to the bottom until you are resting on whatever is underneath it. If you have a really hard mattress, I don't think this will help much, at least not the 2 inch thickness that I got. I have a medium firm mattress that's pretty comfortable, but I wanted to add this topper to just soften up the top a bit more. The quality is top notch. It has a uniform distribution of holes and thickness and density. The edges are nicely cut, and it is a perfect rectangle. It comes vacuum-sealed and coiled up in a bag. Once opened, it inflated quickly to full thickness. I was very surprised at the lack of odor. I was expecting a heavy chemical smell like I've experienced with previous toppers. I didn't even notice anything here until I stuck my nose right into it, in which case there is a mild smell that is not at all foul. I will air it out a day and put it under a sheet and I expect to not smell anything at all again. I'm happy with the quality and value of this topper. ... show more

I have a twin bed that I occasionally sleep on... and it is not exactly comfortable. This makes a HUGE difference! I'm so happy I ordered it! I got the 3" one. This twin XL mattress topper made the dorm room bed SO much more comfortable. It fit perfect and was super easy to unpack and place it. The dust mite cover and sheets still fit great. Overall I think the quality is great!

Be aware this comes compressed and must sit out for a day or two to be completely decompressed. We put it directly on the bed after opening and by night it was ready for use. I got two toppers for my kids beds to give it extra softness. They complain sometimes that the bed is too hard. This helped greatly and they are happy with the softer cushion and sleep softness their bed has now. Overall this is a recommended item
