Chose this comforter for our master bedroom. We are huge Pacific Coast down comforter fans. Have been for years. They are costly, but for how often we spend time in our bed we feel it's a good investment. This quality, warmth, breathability and amazing texture and feel of this comforter allowed us to put the Pacific Coast away and give this a try. It is a substantially filled down piece and the blue is a stunning blue and high-quality high thread and soft and cool fabric. Stitching is excellent. I will provide an update in the future after cleaning and heavy use. We are really excited to try this new comforter this winter.

I've utilized this duvet primarily as a comforter. It indeed provides ample warmth, especially on colder days. However, the material tends to make it slide off the bed, which can be a bit inconvenient but not a big problem.

The very first thing that you must know about this comforter is that if you indeed use it like I am, like a comforter, it feels EXACTLY like a sleeping bag! I personally like that feel but it might be off putting to some. I let my husband use it because I wanted to test out the temperature factor. He has to sleep cool and this did keep him cool. So while it does feel like a warmer comforter, it did actually work in warmer temperatures for us. The color is very vibrant and beautiful. The stitching is well done and it did not arrive with any sort of odor! Great comforter as long as you like sleeping bag material!

What I do like: weight is great for year-round in coastal Southern CA where it's cool but not cold at night (maybe 50s) and polyfill is so much easier to clean and store than down. The off-white had a little bit of pink tone to it which turned out to be great for the room (not using a cover, yet). What I don't particularly like: the slippery outer material which feels like a sleeping bag; I'll probably end up getting a cover to mitigate that.

I am reviewing the "BEDENSIT King Size Comforter Duvet Insert - Quilted Blue Comforter King Size, All Season Down Alternative Quilted Duvet Insert with Corner Tabs - Soft Luxury Hotel Comforter (Blue)" I ordered mine in the King size blue and it is indeed that! The stitching is great, I love that they do it that way so that there are boxes of fluff and that it doesn't all slide to one side! It takes a little time to fluff up completely, about a day or so, after coming to me flat a as a pancake haha! And, it is soft and all.... but, it sounds and almost feels legit like a sleeping bag and drove my fiancé nuts!! But then I used it as a duvet insert, and then I fell in love with this! So, it can be used as just a straight comforter... but I recommend using it as a duvet insert to get the best out of it!

Received this King Size Duvet Insert awhile back & have put it to use. It lays really nice and works really well with the different duvets that I have. It works best with my duvets that have ties inside due to the slippery materiel. It reminds me of a sleeping bag tbh. Parachute-y even. That part I don’t particularly like but it doesn’t make it easier to slide it into the duvets. It does have a rich navy color. Hubby likes it but only knows it by the duvet’s.😅 As for price, it runs about average. ❤️🔥Shalom…

This is very thick and warm, probably more of a winter than summer comforter. I tried just using it by itself without a duvet cover (which I don't have yet), and it works, but the material is odd for a comforter, of course - slippery nylon-like, like a sleeping bag basically. My dogs definitely did not appreciate it, lol, they kept digging to pull it aside so they could get to the sheets. And obviously it slips and slides around a lot without a cover on it, so I'll probably be getting a cover for it. It did feel very warm - a little too warm for this autumn heat wave we're having at the moment, but I think it'll feel great once the colder temps arrive.

The fabric of this comforter resembles a sleeping bag material and is a little loud when it moves around. Besides that, it has a good weight to it and feels cool to the touch. It's pretty soft and well stitched together and I think the fabric material would be pretty easy to clean if there was a spill. I think this would be a great filler for a duvet cover or just a good quality blanket to have around if you need an extra and don't mind the noisy fabric.
