After checking temps with the built in gauge. Can completely confirm it's impact on cooling it's not a small difference it's massive. Went from 130°f pushing this console. Not it runs low-mid 80s while running flight sim optimized for series x. Only other upgrades id mention is storage and there is also a rear fan sold to push air through unlike from the factory (mostly space saving costs) those 3 paired give you a hell of a performance console. Iv recommended this to more than 15 people. To the people complaining about fan noise.... It's not a top line PC fan it's gonna get a lil loud but with a 2 sided headset it's basically unnoticed. I rarely give 5 stars unless a item really impresses me. Especially if it is made in China. However, this item is a must have for anyone that plays the XBox. Especially those who play on it for more than a hour at a time. Sadly, these game systems come with less and less items, but continue to raise the prices. We never needed to buy another controller with the NES, SNES, Sega, Playstation, and so on. Let alone having to worry about keeping the system cool. This is why I wait till the new systems are out for a while so the price drops. In my house, we are not entitled and have to have everything new. We are not spoiled. I refuse to pay what they ask for new items. It is a rip off. How can they not include a fan on a system like the XBox when it actually does get hot and could actually catch on fire. But that is because they want more and more money from you. Next, they won't even give you a controller. But for this item, it is very easy to set up. Literally take it out of the box, snap it on top of your XBox X and plug it in. It is that easy. You can adjust the fan to cool the XBox done based on the temp. And you can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Three different fan speeds. It will let you know, based on the temp, what temp it is and will also indicate how hot or cool it is based on the color indicator. I recommend running the lowest speed based on temp to extend the life of the fan. Running it on high all the time when it is not necessary, will burn the fan motor out quicker. This is a great way to extend your XBox life, since I think the goal of XBox is to burn yours out so you can buy another one or upgrade. Trust me, they don't want you holding on to anything too long. How are they going to make millions in "profit" if you keep anything or own anything. Which is why I predict movies and games will someday ONLY be available to rent. Just like the streaming services, they make more money and make you a life time customer if they take away the right to own. Keeps them rich. This will ONLY work with XBox X. Will not work with XBox S series. Made in China.

This cooling fan sits beautifully on my Series X and the noise is pretty much non-existent. I can't even tell it's running, most of the time. There is an automatic feature, which is the most wonderful thing about it, it detects when the system is idle and the fan is off so it isn't wasting power and energy. Once the system turns on, the fan turns on, but not on the highest setting. It adjusts accordingly, depending on the usage of the console. The RGD LED display, is another wonderful feature to have, is something that I love and that matches my decor. I am using this in my Gameroom, where there is ample RGB lights all over the place and this was a beautiful addition to my space. Some reviewers complained about the brightness, however I find that I admire how bright the lights are, it matches wonderfully with my Gameroom ambience. The cooling fan is crafted nicely and truly cools the Series X with ease. No issues and no complaints. I find the current price of $46 to be very fair, considering the quality of this cooling fan and the additional features that it has. I would pay this over and over again, if I had to. Well done!

We got this to go with our XBox system. We have been impressed with how it will automatically turn on when needed. It cools the system of effectively and efficiently. It’s pretty quiet and gets the job done. This product is priced great as well.
