At first I was very disappointed with these because I expected an overstuffed, plush pillow after the allotted time had passed. I gave it the 30 minutes...then another hour...and then a few more hours. They stayed flat. What I wish I had known prior is you need to physically fluff the material in between your hands to separate it & the reviews and instructions weren't quite clear enough to me on that part. They fluffed up quite a bit after that but definitely not what I would call overstuffed. My husband is thrilled with his and it stays cool while he sleeps. After opened it up, it is fluffy and overstuffed. The fillings are removable in order to to adjust the firmness. Caution for side sleepers. Had to make adjustments by removing foam & it is better but not perfect. Back sleepers it’s amazing. Pillow is cool to touch & stays that way. I never wake up to flip to cool side or bc my neck & head is sweating. Given it is returnable I would not hesitate to purchase. I have severe neck & back issues so it may just be me that makes it less than perfect. The outer cover alone makes this a 🥇 pillow. So if considering buying, BUY. Nothing to lose given it is returnable. Also the full one is perfect for back if on bed rest but want to sit up. Also great for deep recliners that are painful if back issues. So with all foam it’s perfect for reasons above. Side sleepers; you will have to “make” it better for you. For hot 🥵 sleepers this is five stars 🌟 all the way. I bought these pillows to replace some old worn out feather pillows. I picked these because the pillow covers had zippers making them adjustable.. I determined they had to much fill for me and began to remove the fill a little each night. I sleep on both my side or back it didn't take long to find the right amount of fill to be comfortable in either position.. I placed the removed fill in a clean trash bag and put it in a box for later if needed. These pillows have not retained heat that cause sweating. Having tried a few different types of pillows that were not comfortable. I gave this type of pillow a try. Not wanting to spend a lot on them. I was hesitant to purchase because people had reviewed that theirs came with bed bugs and all other kind of bugs so when I received I opened them all up to inspect and left them on a counter for a couple days and washed them. Anyway there was nothing in the pillows. They were fine. They did have a smell. Smelled like plastic but as soon as they aired out they no longer had a smell.
