Took myself and my brother an hour to assemble because we missed the BIG RED TAPE labeled HARDWARE in the small cardboard box... ooops. Great bed, once the mattress showed up and was installed. This unit doesn't really lift up and lean the person forward as much as I thought it would, but it will work. Very comfortable. Foam is dense. I weigh 300lbs, laid on it; felt no pressure points. Mom is doing hospice at the house and she has entered the stage of very limited mobility, and very low energy. This bed is AMAZING. Lower bed height allowing her to sit into bed (she is 5''1"), allowing ease from wheelchair to bed. The adjustments from sitting up to getting off the bed, to capability of having multiple access of angles to allow perfect posture for eating, to laying down gave all the comfort I wanted to provide for her. It is also stylish and does not look like a sterile hospital room.
