This worked perfectly to fill the gap on our king size bed from Ikea. We always found that the mattress fit well enough up against the headboard but when we put on a mattress topper, it created a gap that would allow things to sneak behind into the abyss. This stops that from happening + is flush with the top of the mattress topper because of the notched shape so it doesn't create a bump under the pillow like some other ones that I bought.

This spacer works well to fill the gap between my mattress and the headboard. Read the descriptions of the different spacer sizes carefully, and if the mattress/headboard gap is between sizes, or if the gap varies like mine (the mattress pillow top is a little poofy and causes the gap to be less at the middle of the mattress and wider toward the mattress edges), use the wider spacer. The foam is very compressible and you can squeeze it into the slightly smaller gaps. The spacer comes very tightly rolled up and pressure-wrapped in a plastic wrap that's difficult to cut off without cutting into the foam, so take care when cutting it off. The spacer unrolled and straightened out very nicely and quite quickly. It's long enough to fit a king bed width, so it will need to be trimmed if you have a narrower bed. It can be easily cut with a utility knife or even scissors. I'm very pleased with the fit and function of this spacer.

I had been shopping this item type for the last year. Incidentally I was mainly focused on the higher priced items that looked more professional with pockets and advertised gripping features. I only saw this option when I got online last week. I like how basic it is. We don't have anyone walking through our bedroom that would see some foam. Far more efficient for the cost and the size fit our bed well. I may add to this review down the road once we've had the product for a while. We did let it air out for 2 days after it delivered as recommended. I didn't notice any odor when we put it on the bed. I read a lot of reviews for this product before making a purchase.

Purchased the L-shaped for 2.2-2.8 inches. This is easy to set up and cut for the right size length, and it was exactly as described for measurements. Great price for this product, as it worked well: it didn’t slip, was soft to touch and stayed firm under our pillows. One pause for concern is the amount of hair, dust, and other things that stick to the foam. If you have animals or a lot of dust, make sure you put it UNDER your sheets to prevent the collection.

We used this to stop our adjustable bed remotes from falling through the cracks. Also great when grandkids came and wanted to use the big bed (so they didn't get stuck in the crack either!!). Such a needed item and hard to find. Glad someone thought of making this. I might cut the end off the foot end because it sticks out a bit, and it won't hurt anything.
