I use this little machine once or twice a week. It really does help loosen and remove clogged pores. You can even see them in the dirty water chamber once you are done using it. The solution it comes with has acids that help dissolve the oil plugs but it would probably work without it since the suction is pretty strong. It comes with instructions that are clear and it's pretty easy to use. Just like any of these vacuums for your face, you don't want to hold it in one spot. It's meant to glide across the face. I like to use this just after a shower when my pores are open and my skin is softened. Then I keep my face wet to aid in smoothing over the skin nicely while using it. Just stopped working completely. Turns on but no suction at all. Now the return window is closed. And the collection container (for waste) opens from the bottoms, so it's spilling the dirty water onto hands.

I've done hydro facials and they are hella expensive. I didn't expect much going the DIY route with this product, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The vacuum power is strong enough, and I saw brighter skin immediately after use. One thing to note, I was having problems with it shutting off every couple minutes, but then figured out I wasn't charging it properly. This is an unusual handheld device for at-home facials! I love the different attachments (large and small tips for cleansing, plus a flat cap for storage and blue light treatment). I'm disappointed that the water in the waste chamber usually looks clear, as it would be satisfying to see what's being extracted from my skin, but maybe I just have a clean face. While I don't see a significant difference after use, my skin feels cleaner and softer. The suction doesn't irritate my skin, which I appreciate.
