This is the second pair I’ve purchased I like them so much. After the ear clip broke off of my first set after 6 yrs of use at gym and otherwise. I used them recently on a two week trip for both watching movies and listening to music. The size is great for sticking in a small/t-shirt pocket or just leave hanging round your neck. I have APPLE Pro earbuds that slip outta my ears no matter how much I try to keep them in with accessories. Nd these are comprable soundwise. Depending on what I’m doing and where I am I have BOSE QC 45 over ear for home viewing, BEATS POWERBEATS PRO for vigorous movement and these POWERBEATS3 for ease while traveling LIGHT! I’m only giving this one star because the over ear and cord are an excellent style for someone like me. Also the sound quality isn’t bad but it’s not beats worthy great either. I’m not a fan of the mic and controls being on the left side. So the REAL problem is the disconnect/reconnect problems. I’ve already returned one pair because of this problem. I thought it was just a defect tbh. The second pair is doing the exact same thing. I’ve tried to research it as best as I could but it’s kind of vague upfront. I’ve checked Bluetooth connections, forgot and reconnected, reset, etc. idk if I’m missing something but I have zero issues connecting any other kind of Bluetooth device to my phone. I’m very disappointed. I wanted these to work because as I said before the style is absolutely perfect for my needs. And the price was really reasonable for my budget. First, as other said, they don't come with a cable, but I had one. They do come with the various model-specific earpieces, which is far more important for the proper fit, once you can charge them. Since others had said they fail to hold a charge, I took a chance and started a timer. After 3 days of on-off use being carefully timed, they've held a charge for twelve hours and forty-five minutes of active use. They also charge relatively quickly, for Beats3's. This test also included using the controls to turn the volume up, backtrack, skip forward, pause, and hook it up to three devices. All of them received it with no difficulty over the three days, and it's actually behaved more Bluetooth reliable than my Bose Quietcomfort II's or Beats Pro tests. Beats 3's have always been this way, in my experience. I wish they still produced them today, partly because on-wire controls are easier to control and are also more comfortable than tapping on what leads directly into your eardrum. They work as well as my old, refurbished grey ones I had for over six years, if they were like new again. ... show more

Ive had these many times in the past and after my last set died after a long use. I wanted another. These did what they are supposed to do. Play strong robust sound with heavy base, great for being on the go and awesome for Gym use. The newer version is not as good.

Love the head phones in the past but when I ordered back up these they didn't send a charger cable!!! How does it "pass" an inspection? Do I really need to go buy cables now?????

I was able to connect these to my blue tooth. Everything seemed to be working fine. When it was time to turn them off, they stayed off for about 5 min and then came back on the second I tried to used my phone. So I wouldn't hear from my phone speakers. Then I'd try to turn them off and they wouldn't . I had to disable the phone from blue tooth just to turn them off! Then when it was time to use them again they would only turn on for a second and blue tooth couldn't find them. They also were very tight and weren't comfortable. I had the most recent Beats that they don't make anymore, and those were way better. This is my first time buying something refurbished , and it will be my last . ... show more
