I’m not enough of an audio snob to comment on the sound beyond saying it’s good. Better than a $20 backup pair of buds I have for sure. The noise cancelling is effective, though I feel like it’s been better on other buds I’ve tried. The real value here is the hook things. These are sold for cheap to add to other buds, but it’s not the same as having them intentionally built in. I wear these for probably 10 hrs/day on average with zero ear fatigue and zero concern about them falling out. I have no idea why this design doesn’t have a host of knockoff options, it’s just plain better than every other “stay in place” bud I’ve tried. That said, the built-in Find My support for the buds is a joke, over 6 years and a few pairs, it let me down basically every time I tried using it. Moreover, the buds are in my ear or the case - what would really be useful is an AirTag built into the case.

I'm a huge fan of Apple Airpods but I have a big problem: they fall out of my ears. Especially when I move my jaw (drinking, chewing) and this is a big problem when I'm on an airplane. I have tried all the different ear tips as well as the after market ones and nothing works. We travel a lot and the last thing I want is to lose an expensive airpod in my airplane seat. I tried the Powerbeats Pro 2 which wrap around the ear but I wear glasses and the two things behind my ears was uncomfortable over time. I have tried a number of other non-Apple earbuds and for about 6 months I switched to SoundCore X20 sports which are excellent, but they lack the Apple H1 chip which allows for seamless switching between my three apple devices (mac, ipad & iphone). So I decided to try these Beats Powerbeats Fit earbbuds and I think I have finally found the perfect earbud for me. The soft wing tips tuck in comfortably in my ear and they are very secure and do not fall out no matter what I eat or drink. And the H1 chip ensures that switching devices is totally seamless - no fussing with re-pairing the bluetooth. The ANC is excellent as is the sound quality and the smaller case will be easier to pack. I got the bright orange which is much easier to see when the cabin lights are dimmed. The real test will be a trip to Sicily soon so stay tuned. I'll update this review if I discover anything important. But for now, these are the best for me.

RIGHT BUD DOESN'T CONNECT…on two separate units. Bought a pair, super excited, charged them up when they came in the mail, went to connect them, and the right earbud didn’t work. I’ve had similar issues with other earbuds in the past, so I performed several factory resets and ensured both buds were showing a charge, and tried again. The case kept thinking the bud was in the case charging, and wouldn’t connect at all. I thought it was a one off, returned and replaced for an identical product. Didn’t expect it to come with the exact same issue...but sadly it did. Did all the same troubleshooting with these again, and still had zero luck. Apparently this is an issue that not just I am having. Huge shame, cause I have a ton of other beats products and have for years, and this is my first consistent, unfixable issue. Shame on Beats and their quality control. They gotta figure something out, or I have no doubt they’ll lose more than just my business. And to add insult to injury, apparently Amazon doesn’t trust me enough to let me exchange for a third pair, so I gotta go pound sand or drop another $200 for earbuds that may not work. Not gonna risk that though. Hope you don’t have these same problems, and honestly, you shouldn’t have to worry about that from such a big name as Beats, but I guess this is where we’re at. Hope this review helps you decide one way or another. And if someone at Beats reads this…do better.

I was initially hesitant to buy these because my previous set of Beats was underwhelming, but I needed a pair of gym headphones with a solid fit. I have tried several brands of earbuds with various tips (factory vs. aftermarket foam vs. aftermarket high-quality silicone; various sizes tested), and I could achieve good sound but really could not get a great fit. Fine for cardio, but most weightlifting made my headphones slowly wiggle out of my ears. The "hook inside ear" style looked worthwhile, and I am glad I gave these a try. The fit is very good. There is a "sound test" which helps you determine the correct tip sizes, and that helped. The noise isolation is great. Even with my music paused, the various external noises in the gym are controlled. The volume is "good, but not great" in the sense that I feel they need to be turned up a bit louder to match the sound of some other brands. An interesting quirk, maybe only on Android devices: there is no easy way to adjust the sound. I guess they offer an auto-EQ with a sound they feel is best. I won't complain about that because I am using this as a true "gym headphone" and have other earbuds for use at home/on a plane/for hands-free calling, but several other brands I have used have some form of EQ setting where one can choose bass-heavy vs rock vs voice vs whatever. It just seems odd to not have the Beats app offer EQ settings or manual sliders, as maybe someone else wants the solid fit but is not seeking out a boomy sound. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good pair of headphones for their gym needs. The sound is good, not great, but I do not think anyone needs to worry about nuanced sound when training. These excel at staying in place when lifting weights.

Best ear buds ever. They cancel our noise really well, they stay in the ear, they get loud. I lost my first pair and was distraught with out them. Finally gave in and bought a new pair and my life is complete again.

I have the original beats fit pro and so I wanted the upgraded ones now that one of my headphones on the old ones (2020) started cutting out after heavy usage. When I got them they looked great, super tiny case and fit just like the last. They were comfortable and fit into my ear perfect. The material is very smooth and feels good in the ear. They connected without issue to my iPhone and that’s where the disappointment began. The sound quality was fine. Basically no bass but it sounded good, ANC same as my original ones. Poor. They barely cut out noise and so I was incredibly disappointed in these “new” ones. I’m not sure if there was any actual upgrade from the original ones when it comes to sound quality, which made me so sad because I was excited to have a true upgrade. If ANC and bass is important for you, don’t get these. Get the Powerbeats instead

Pros: Impressive Sound Quality: Delivers crisp, rich audio that punches above its weight class. Sleek Aesthetic: Stylish and modern look out of the box. Skin-Tone Blending: The color options match well with skin tones, making them remarkably discreet and subtle when worn. Decent Noise Canceling: Active noise cancellation performs quite well for the price point. While it doesn't match the heavy-duty isolation of over-ear headphones, it does a solid job of cutting down ambient background noise. Cons: Severe Ear Pain: The fit was extremely painful, feeling like my ears were being pinched off after extended wear. If you are sensitive to in-ear pressure or specific earbud designs, this might be an issue. Comfort Issues Limit Usability: Because of the pain, I wasn't able to wear them as long as I needed and ultimately had to switch to a different pair. The Verdict: If you want earbuds with great sound, solid budget-friendly noise canceling, and a low-profile look that practically disappears, these have a lot going for them. However, if you have sensitive ears or struggle with earbuds that press too hard, the fit issues might make them a painful experience. Unfortunately, I had to look elsewhere for something I could wear comfortably for long stretches.

Sound is great! They fit so comfortably you don’t even no they are there sometimes. I got the penguin which were super cute. It was a gift from my partner. And they’re so easy to use and understand and they have a wrong battery life. Don’t fall out of your ears while moving around. They seem really sturdy. They’re worth the money.
