This works perfectly with my harbor freight tire tool. Installed in minutes, Looks like it came with the original tool and painted very well. It can easily be removed but there is no need to as the tire was able to be pulled around it. Seems to be very durable, I have done 2 tires and no problems at all. It is only as stable as the original tool as it is only an attachment. Highly recommended if you want to replace your own tires.

I had built my own duck bill mod for my harbor freight manual tire changer but I was never really satisfied with it. I think I spent more than this unit just in materials not to mention the time it took. I like that this kit comes with everything. The torrington bearings allow it to rotate smoothly over the centering cone and it is a close fit on the center post so it rotates around the wheel tightly with proper clearance, something my diy version never did. The centering cone fits smaller wheel hubs like those found on smaller vehicles. I had to purchase a larger cone for truck wheels with large hub holes. For the money you can go wrong. Makes changing tires a breeze without damaging wheels. Do yourself a favor, mount your tire changer to the floor somewhere or secure it so it doesn't move. And use tire lube

At first, I hesitated about this kit, because there are no measurements to be found in the listing. Just that it’s supposed to ’only’ work with HF tire changers. I had no HF unit to measure on (can’t even get HF products in Sweden) so I bought the kit a bit blindly. I have a Sealey TC960 changer, which has a 2” (51mm) top cap, and to my great joy, it fit perfectly! No mods whatsoever needed to the tire changer - I just greased up the bearings a little, and on it went. The bearings and locking collars were the main reason I wanted this model. I have done 16” and 17” tires so far. It works great, and I can only give my warmest recommendations. My new favorite tool. For this price, it is an absolute bargain imo. Hopefully this info can be useful to someone else wondering if it will fit your changer.

Definitely improves manual tire machine functionality , Nite and Day difference! I did modify the crossbar. I cut and rewelded it so it was 4 inches higher to leave room for upper tire bead when removing lower tire bead! The adding of the bearings removed all play from duckhead, good design.
