I had built my own duck bill mod for my harbor freight manual tire changer but I was never really satisfied with it. I think I spent more than this unit just in materials not to mention the time it took. I like that this kit comes with everything. The torrington bearings allow it to rotate smoothly over the centering cone and it is a close fit on the center post so it rotates around the wheel tightly with proper clearance, something my diy version never did. The centering cone fits smaller wheel hubs like those found on smaller vehicles. I had to purchase a larger cone for truck wheels with large hub holes. For the money you can go wrong. Makes changing tires a breeze without damaging wheels. Do yourself a favor, mount your tire changer to the floor somewhere or secure it so it doesn't move. And use tire lube

Excellent product it helps me a lot with the tires ,what it used to be a very difficult task now is an easy job. I have a different tire changer equipment but I was able to fit the collars with some small extra metal sheets and worked wonderfully.Bu only one thing that didn't like is that the aluminium cone gets dinked easily. The price should be a little lower .

What a difference! This is a great way to upgrade your manual tire changer. It makes changing tires so much easier. I wish I had gotten it sooner. Im going back to changing my own tires. I don't have to wait at the shop and waste half a day. let alone the expense. I had 0 paper work for setup, but its fairly self explanatory. I guess there are you tube videos too. It seems to be built well too.

At first, I hesitated about this kit, because there are no measurements to be found in the listing. Just that it’s supposed to ’only’ work with HF tire changers. I had no HF unit to measure on (can’t even get HF products in Sweden) so I bought the kit a bit blindly. I have a Sealey TC960 changer, which has a 2” (51mm) top cap, and to my great joy, it fit perfectly! No mods whatsoever needed to the tire changer - I just greased up the bearings a little, and on it went. The bearings and locking collars were the main reason I wanted this model. I have done 16” and 17” tires so far. It works great, and I can only give my warmest recommendations. My new favorite tool. For this price, it is an absolute bargain imo. Hopefully this info can be useful to someone else wondering if it will fit your changer.

Swapped out a set of tires for my truck using a DIY duck bill bar. It was a bit of work and took a while. I bought this set up and I was able to swap out a set of 4 tires in about 20 minutes per tire. Faster easier and a lot less frustration. Made the job easily 50% easier. Would highly recommend. This does work on my Harbor Freight red manual tire changer. The only part that did not work was the centering cone. The paint is to thick. I will probably grind off the powder coating when I have more time. I find it easier to just leave it a little loose and run the duck bill around the rim to center it then tighten it down.
