I was trying to mount 18” All terrain tires and to say I was struggling would be an understatement, that was until I purchased this kit. It made all the difference! I would recommend buying the centering cone with the kit since I was able to pull the tire and wheel off center without it and it’s also cheaper if bought as a kit. I also bought the mounting lube from a local parts store which was worth the $16.00. The soapy water was not helping at all and would dry quickly and become a sticking point. For the price of this kit, I found it was worth its weight in gold. I have the Harbor freight (Red) manual tire changer and this kit was the perfect fit. With all the tire shops quoting $25.00 and up per tire I saved money buying this kit. (Les Schwab quoted $239.00 for mount, balance, and disposal for 4 tires!) Now I’m money ahead on the tires I change in the future. Don’t hesitate to purchase this kit, you won’t be disappointed. I was a little hesitant because of the reviews I read saying that the duck head broke. If you use any common sense at all you won’t have that problem. I was using a 3’ long cheater bar in the square tube to help get the tire onto the bead. I just didn’t blindly torque on it I slowly pulled it around and had no issues and it held up just fine. Like I said, buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

A must have if you're planning on doing your own tire work. I mounted it on an out of the box HF manual tire changer. The clamps/bearings were the perfect diameter. This will pay for itself quickly. I've used it a bit. I was concerned about the plastic duck head initially, but it's plenty sturdy and protects the wheel from any scratching. It made an impossible DIY task easy. I also couldn't believe that it actually worked so similar to a tire machine. The only real difference is that you provide the force via leverage. With proper instruction any able bodied person could do it, though. I highly recommend buying two tire irons from HF to go with the setup. It'll make your life much easier.

Swapped out a set of tires for my truck using a DIY duck bill bar. It was a bit of work and took a while. I bought this set up and I was able to swap out a set of 4 tires in about 20 minutes per tire. Faster easier and a lot less frustration. Made the job easily 50% easier. Would highly recommend. This does work on my Harbor Freight red manual tire changer. The only part that did not work was the centering cone. The paint is to thick. I will probably grind off the powder coating when I have more time. I find it easier to just leave it a little loose and run the duck bill around the rim to center it then tighten it down.

Do your research many different manufactures with different size shafts but this one works good with H/F units. It fits nice to the top tube with clamps and bearings makes friction a minimum when operating well worth the extra costs

Welds were more than acceptable compared to the normal chineese welds you see. The steel used was thicker than I had been expecting. All around it was a very good build quality. I really recommend this if you are looking for a duck head adaptor. I used this unit on a Vevor manual tire machine. As some of you might know the upper tube on the Vevor is smaller in diameter than the HF tire machine which this adaptor is made for. What needs to be done in order to use it is to obtain a 2" i.d. exhaust connector and make two split metal sleeves to make up the clearance between the Vevor's upper tube (1.915" approx) and the Krysolad arms inner diameter (2.040" approx). The split collars will hold the newly made bushings to the Vevors upper tube and still give approximately .010" clearance between bushings and the inner diameter of the adaptors surface that normally rides on the HF's upper tube. Pictures will give a better idea of what I'm referring to.
