*I have tried several weight vests over the years. This one didn't quite fit me because I'm thin and I have high bony knobs on the top of my shoulders. For most people that would probably not be an issue. What I like is that the weight plates are flat, so it doesn't look like the wearer has a dynamite vest on. You won't look spooky or scary if you wear it on a hiking trail or other public place. I like the deep garnet color. I love the side clips that have buckle adjustments. There are several places on the vest where you can adjust the fit. Everything is extremely sturdy. If I had my own design team, this is what I'd want them to create! *I walk with a weighted vest for 25 min. a day, alternating heavier and lighter weights each day - always with 8 lb. on the vest and adding 6 lb. in my hands every other day. I also walk up and downstairs several times a day with weights. The result is that the rest of the day when I walk around or do the stairs, I'm not dragging. I have more muscle than I need for my body weight. It's worth keeping up with a routine and a weighted vest allows this 70 year old female to do that comfortably. When I carry bundles of laundry or bags of groceries I'm not struggling.

Well made heavy duty weight vest . The material w will be able to endure a beating . The Velcro to hold the plates is very strong . I have 25 pound plates in the front and back totaling 50 pounds. No issues of wear and tear. The shoulder padding is very comfortable and the inside on the inner sides of the vest is very comfortable and there are no friction burns on the chest and back because of the padding . The buckle closures on the side are extremely secure and easy to unbuckle after a heavy workout. I personally find this to be better than the Rogue brand vest . Do recommend it.

After 1 year of ownership and continued use, the elasticity in the waist strap is starting to fail and the strap is deteriorating. I do not store in outside or in sun. Also could be hot sauce in my sweat, lol.
