I needed some easily movable, comfortable seating I could move in and out of my living room and office. This chair fits the bill. It arrived in a *ludicrously* small box for the overall size of the chair, a testament to how well the triple-vacuum packing works. Although the instructions say it may take up to 72 hours to expand, mine was full sized within a day. It's not very heavy, which is nice, but it does sit lower to the floor than some other similar options, which may make it limited to more mobile folks (so don't buy this for your elderly relatives with limited sitting/standing ability, or to use as a dining chair). Unlike some other chairs, there is a "divet" for your butt in the seat, which makes it very comfortable to use, but makes it less usable when paired up with other chairs as an impromptu couch. I do find that the lumbar support is better than other similar chairs I've used. The faux fur fuzz is very silky and comfortable, but felt hot after a while - I plan on getting a slipcover or blanket that's a little less heat-trapping, and to protect the surface (although it does look like you can remove the cover to launder if needed). Overall, really good! It's similarly priced to others available, so I would recommend this chair, while also recommending that you consider your needs in terms of how low/high the chair sits and if you are pairing it with other similar chairs. ... show more

This bean bag chair came very compressed but started decompressing as soon as it was released from its wrapper. There was no odor to it. The faux fur is very soft and I haven't noticed any shedding so far. My granddaughter sits in this chair to watch TV and to rock her babies to sleep. She says is is snuggly comfy. I think this is a good buy and I give it two thumbs up. ... show more
