The inner 'mattress" is not washable and the outer cover is not waterproof, so you have to be careful with it. It is filled with random bits of foam and is quite lumpy, not comfortable at all as a mattress. Has a chemical odor that goes away after a few days of ventilation. Stuffed into the cover it is attractive but so overstuffed that it doesn't function as a beanbag chair - just a giant hard pillow. I managed to get the tiny hidden zipper on the inner mattress open with a pair of pliers and I'm going to try removing some of the stuffing.

Wanted it for multiple uses...bean bag chair, couch, bed...it is very comfortable. I prefer using this as a bed rather than a blow up mattress. I have the full size and two of us are comfortable sleeping on it. When propped up against the wall or something else, it's been great to use as a couch and watch movies. I haven't put the liner in the bean bag cover yet, so I can't say how that works, but I imagine it's comforable too. The quality seems pretty good. There is a slight smell if you bury your nose in the bed but that hasn't bothered me. The full size seems to be just right for my use with 2 people. I find the filling capacity good but when using this as a bed, make sure to space out the filler so that it lays relatively evenly on the floor. I was a little leary of purchasing after reading some reviews but this has turned out to be a great purchase and good value for the money. NOTE: There is no cover for the bed/liner itself, so that can't be washed. The only cover is the bean bag chair cover/enclosure for when you want to put the bed/liner into it and use it as a bean bag chair.
