In spite of its relatively small packaging, this is an adult sized chair and ottoman. It arrives super compressed. The first thing that you do once you open the box is to cut open (carefully!) the plastic bag. Worry not, its not going to explode open or anything of the sort. It will slowly decompress once the plastic wrap is removed. The next step is critical: once you take the plastic rap off, simply place in an area where the chair and the ottoman can slowly decompress for a complete 24 hours. During this time, do not move or even touch the chair or ottoman. Let nature do its business! If its disturbed (the uncompression) it may leave inconsistencies and bumps and not being equally supportive all over. Great for the kids you send off to college! Great for the guest bedroom! Has so many uses and looks great too! Just wish it had more of a warning for leaving it to decompress for a full day as this is extremely important to understand and do. ... show more
