My kids like this beanie bag. It’s huge and they can easily sink into it and have some support for their backs. The beanie bag is pretty full and comfortable. It came with a strong chemical smell but after a few days it is much better. You put the black velvet casing on and we were able to do it in a minute. Seems very durable.

My beanbag chair arrived in a tiny but heavy box. I was disappointed, thinking I was mistaken in thinking it was supposed to include the stuffing (one of the reasons I chose this one over others). When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find the super-duper compressed bag of stuffing along with the cover. It was fun to watch it get bigger and bigger over the next couple of days. We were wondering if it was ever going to stop, and regretting not putting the cover on it before letting it expand. I've included a photo of what it looked like 3 hours after opening. It looks just like the photo in the description once fully expanded. Once I was sure the growing was at least close to done, I begrudgingly took the cover out of the package and unfolded it, thinking there was no way I was going to be able to put it on the giant beanbag without recruiting help. I gave the insert a good shake, as per the provided instructions, then began the dreaded chore of containing the monstrosity in the cover... Only, it wasn't even a chore! The process took less than 30 seconds. It was way easier than it should have been. The cover is made from a thick, velvety-plush material. It's very soft. The seams are strong. It is definitely better quality all around than any bean bag chair I've ever seen. On to comfort. The foam used in this chair is more like the traditional dense latex used in mattresses (I don't think it's memory foam). It's firm, but has some give. I didn't totally sink into it; my back felt supported... maybe a better word would be cradled. It is perfect, and exactly (maybe a bit better) than what I was hoping for. I got it more for the kids, but I may be using it myself! I would be amiss if I didn't mention this last point. I did feel a bit like a turtle on it's back when I plopped into it for the first time. Then I discovered it's better to lift it one-handed, then sit down with a bit of a plan for how you would like to sit. Overall, I am really happy with it.

This bean bag is fantastic! The size is perfect, and it took about 4-5 days to fully expand. I fluffed and flipped it a few times during the process. The only downside is the strong plastic or chemical odor right out of the box, which still hasn’t completely gone away. Keeping the window open for a few days has helped a bit. Other than that, it’s a great piece plenty of foam, ideal for lounging, gaming, or napping.

Outstanding!! This will arrive in a somewhat large and heavy box. It is definitely not the size of the bag itself. As most large things come nowadays it is vacuum sealed and about 1/3 of its completed size. The instructions say it can take a day or two to completely, come to full size. I believe it was just about a day. I will suggest a few things to make it easier for you in the long run. If you are sensitive to smells, I would open it in a room away from where you will be for about 2 to 3 days , I would immediately after cutting open the plastic, put the cover on so it can expand inside it though if you ever wash the cover, you will have to put it back on at full size so maybe waiting will show you if it will truly be worth washing later to have to put it back on . When full size the weight of the shipping box probably gained just a little but not much. The cover is very soft and inviting to sit or lie on if you are a small individual. Overall, we are quite impressed with the memory foam inside, it’s very soft and mushy .

I think the girl that's photoshopped into the product photo is definitely a mini-person and shrunk down because it's not THAT big. BUT, that being said, it does work well. A normal size human can still sit in it comfortably and it's perfect for a small apartment or maybe even a dorm room because it's not overly big, taking up a ton of floor space. Has some good cushion and is comfortable.
