I love these towels because they fold up small but yet they can handle the size needed to dry and keep warm an adult after you get out of a pool. At the gym it is always a little colder in the air after you get out of the pool in a room that big. The size is great to wrap all the way around yourself and tuck it under to fasten securely. They are not heavy and bulky when wet, and they dry quick too! The little straps are great for easy hanging on a hook securely so it doesn't slip onto the gym shower floor (blah). The best thing about my purchases (I purchased 6 towels, one different color for each of my family members) was the customer service. The towels were delivered on the dates expected, but two had damaged fasteners for the hanging straps. They were cheaper plastic fasteners, but I dont so much mind as long as they stay hooked together - two didn't. I emailed them and they replaced the two towels no hassel and with fast shipping. The towels were grest gifts for Christmas for the family packaged along with water bottles and memberships to the ymca. :-) ... show more

My husband and I were planning our trip to Florida and discovered that our room did not provide towels for the beach, a must have! In my search on evil amazon I came across these beautiful microfiber towels. The reviews were great but I was weary of paying $25.00. I bought mine first with the pretty designs and after inspection to make sure it could be folded easily back up into the bag and was indeed light weight with quality designs I showed my husband who said, you paid what? A few weeks later I asked him if he wanted me to order one for him, he had decided he wanted one too. His favorite color is yellow, so I ordered the perfect one. Here's the deal, while they are wet they are not sand proof. However, neither are our bodies so that expectation can not be too high. However, once they are dry the sand shakes right off. Because they are microfiber they do get a little heavier when they are wet, but they easily fold right back up into the bag that comes with the towels. We definitely had the nicest towels (big and bright) easy to find in a crowd from the water. I highly recommend theses for traveling. P.S., my husband loves his too. Happy travels! ... show more

This beach towel really is the world’s beautiful towel! Lots of colors to choose from and the towel is very good size for the price. (78x35”) It rolls up to a tiny size, which is great for packing a beach bag or suitcase. It’s light weight, is super absorbent and dries fast. I literally want to replace all my old beach towels with these now because they are so much better! With the bright color, for sure everyone will look at it a 2nd look. Even better they look like hi-end fashion beach towels, but are a great value. Even after washing, these look great! I am sure I would purchase a few more even for my camping trip to Colorado. ... show more

We were going to Thailand for 3 weeks and could only take 15 Lbs per person. I have used traditional towels (get stinky in humid climates), sarongs (dry quickly but not absorbent), and heavy duty travel towels from the outdoors store (held all the sand and debris!). This will be the last travel towel I buy. At first I thought the xl was a little long, but it was actually perfect. Since it was bigger I could use it as a blanket at the airport when our flight was delayed, or put it down to lay on at the beach. I am so pleased I purchased this towel to take to Mexico on vacation. I purchased one for each family member. All four fit in one backpack with LOTS of room to spare. I was worried they would not dry you off because they are so lightweight, but they do. They dry quickly and you can brush the sand right off them, it doesn't stick at all. They worked well on the beach and as a blanket on the plane on the way home. I recommend them to everyone and will be giving them as Christmas presents this year! ... show more

Love, love, love this towel!!! Very big yet super compact and comes in a great zipper carry bag. It is very easy to fit the towel back in the bag too. Dries very quickly and absorbs the water from your hair and bathing suit in no time. My 3 daughters who all have long hair were all able to use it to towel dry their hair much faster than using their regular beach towels. They all asked me to buy more so they could have their own.
