Absolutely love this fan! Frustrated by trying several other brands over the course of days and weeks, I finally became desperate enough to try a brand with a silly name; "Be Quiet." I avoided these fans for quite some time because the name simply sounded cheesy, so I thought "likely cheap Chinese junk." Turns out I was wrong. These are silent; I mean SILENT. I'm a little annoyed that Noctua gets all the credit for being the "quiet" brand; I mean they even have an owl as their logo- genius selection. Ever heard an owl fly at night? You can't hear them at all. However, same can't be said of the Noctua fans. Ho-ly crud are they UNimpressive!! I installed the Noctua Redux NF-P120 in my computer and jeez my machine was LOUDER than it was with the 8 year old sleeve bearing Masscool 4-pin fan it was replacing! Now maybe I got a bad one... or maybe Noctua has a better cooling to noise ratio than something like Be Quiet, but all I can say is that it did not fit my needs; not at all. I don't do intense gaming nor do I do things like video editing; I play world of warships and watch movies/youtube on the computer. So if you have similar computing demands, this Be Quiet fan is likely the one for you. I also tried the Arctic line- the 10 year warranty "gaming" fan- but the fan was actually noisy... and developed a tick within 24 hours of use (in a cleaned tower mind you). I'm pretty sure I just got a bad one, but after reading through their reviews it seemed like a significant number of people were getting bad ones so I went back to searching for another brand. I'm very happy I found this fan for my cpu; save yourself some time and headache; buy this fan. *Note to the Be Quiet people, dude, get a new name: "Stealth Fan" "Silent-Cool" "Pin-Drop," I don't know, just anything that can be taken serious; and doesn't sound like a mouth-breather barking an order at a noisy machine. ... show more

I love this fan. From it's tool-less design to it's whisper silence. It's awesome. I switched to this from a 120mm fan I had and temps dropped around 5-10 degrees depending what I'm doing. Awesome purchase!

I bought 5 of these along with the Dark Rock 4 cooler to overhaul my cooling system that died on me. Installation was insanely fast and performance was better than I expected. These fans at high RPM are still QUIET as can be. Very satisfied and a loyal customer at this point.
