    • The best budget-friendly silent-oriented fans you can buy!

This unit comes in a compact box with the fan inside, and a small baggie filled with rubber rings for mounting onto the fan itself if the default rubber mountings don't suit your specific application. Pretty nice so far. I used these fans to replace my stock fans that came with my radiator, although they may not perform the best in terms of static pressure, it was significantly more silent even under load, with a proper fan curve. Installing these on a radiator was easy peasy, and the screws fit inside the rubber mounting bits with no hassle. Easy installation all around. So far, these fans are probably better for those on a budget, as these are a tad bit cheaper than Noctuas, and perform and sound similar to Noctuas as well. You do miss out on those colored rubberized bits like the Chromax collection from Noctua, but it's all-black, silent, and moves air! ... show more

I love these fans so much and i've made 2 orders for them but in both times (i would order packs of 3) either 1 or 2 of them would be missing screws so I would need to keep getting replacements which was kind of annoying, other than that these are the best non-rgb fans ive ever used, at 1000rpm i can only hear them when i put my ear next to my case ... show more

    • Finally A Silent Fan!!

Absolutely love this fan! Frustrated by trying several other brands over the course of days and weeks, I finally became desperate enough to try a brand with a silly name; "Be Quiet." I avoided these fans for quite some time because the name simply sounded cheesy, so I thought "likely cheap Chinese junk." Turns out I was wrong. These are silent; I mean SILENT. I'm a little annoyed that Noctua gets all the credit for being the "quiet" brand; I mean they even have an owl as their logo- genius selection. Ever heard an owl fly at night? You can't hear them at all. However, same can't be said of the Noctua fans. Ho-ly crud are they UNimpressive!! I installed the Noctua Redux NF-P120 in my computer and jeez my machine was LOUDER than it was with the 8 year old sleeve bearing Masscool 4-pin fan it was replacing! Now maybe I got a bad one... or maybe Noctua has a better cooling to noise ratio than something like Be Quiet, but all I can say is that it did not fit my needs; not at all. I don't do intense gaming nor do I do things like video editing; I play world of warships and watch movies/youtube on the computer. So if you have similar computing demands, this Be Quiet fan is likely the one for you. I also tried the Arctic line- the 10 year warranty "gaming" fan- but the fan was actually noisy... and developed a tick within 24 hours of use (in a cleaned tower mind you). I'm pretty sure I just got a bad one, but after reading through their reviews it seemed like a significant number of people were getting bad ones so I went back to searching for another brand. I'm very happy I found this fan for my cpu; save yourself some time and headache; buy this fan. *Note to the Be Quiet people, dude, get a new name: "Stealth Fan" "Silent-Cool" "Pin-Drop," I don't know, just anything that can be taken serious; and doesn't sound like a mouth-breather barking an order at a noisy machine. ... show more

I replaced 3 case fans with 3 of the be quiet! Shadow Wings 2 120mm fans. Installation was very easy and required no tools. These are the quietest fans I've ever installed. I would strongly recommend these and would definitely purchase again.
