Style: Dark Base 900 Silver
One caveat up front: I ordered the "Silver" version because I don't like orange. Though it's cheaper, I hadn't realized that it doesn't come with the tempered glass side or the PSU shroud. (It is evident on the images, however, so no knock on beQuiet!) If you're really into showing off your RGB lights, you'll want to stick with the orange one. A very nice case though perhaps not as "huge" as some have said. Removing most of the HDD drive bays (it comes with 8!), however, gives ample room for two 3090 Ti's and it clearly can fit a 4090. It is extremely modular, as advertised, but some of that modularity is probably excessive for most users. I'd even caution someone doing their first build that this case may add more complexity to that than they might like. This was my sixth build, however, and I had only one problem: being able to reach all the screws to hold the PSU in place. It is exceptionally quiet even running 7 140mm fans (I added one) and is very solid with excellent materials. I'm sure this case will suit me fine for many years to come! ... show more

Style: Dark Base 900 Silver
The case isn't "Bad" but it just not "Great" either. Some of the bad issues: 1. Rear side panel screws (attached screws that don't separate from the panel) are very difficult to lineup correctly without striping the threads. I don't know why manufacturers acquest to consumers that apparently keep losing case screws so they come up with a terrible design to try and keep them attached to panel which just causes more problems that it solves (not sure why I should be tortured because of "some" other users build incompetence). My advice, remove the 4 panel screws, drill out the hole so that a standard side panel screw fits and just don't lose the screws (the horror of responsibility I know). 2. The case will not support 60mm thick radiators (like those from EK XE series). 3. The way the power supply is located with a remote connection cable doesn't seem to be solving any problem and is just creating the potential for more problems. 4. The purpose of the side panel pop outs to attach additional fans defeats the purpose of "Be Quiet" and is a hazard to have open fan blades externally to the case (think kids fingers, pets, etc.). In addition, having these fans located there destroys clean air flow leaving pockets of hot air because the air is just going everything rather than "flowing" from in to out. The positive: 1. Lots of drive bays, I used all but one of them. I would NOT buy this case again nor recommend it to anyone in the current $200 price range. ... show more

    • Awesome build quality, but some questionable design choices.
Style: Dark Base 900 Black
This is not a case for beginners. This was my 4th time building a PC and this was by far the most frustrating case I've worked with. Whoever designed the PSU mount area, needs to be fired. Instead of mounting the PSU flush against the back, you have to mount it inside the case in rubber mounts. Not only will it not work with certain PSU's due to it having a backplate with a tiny power cord to plug into the real PSU inside the case that may not match on higher end PSU models, but also the screws for the backplates are easily dropped inside the frame of the case. There are channels along the frame of the case that screws can fall into that you can't get them out. I felt like a bully shaking a kid upside down for his lunch money trying to get those things out. Build quality is excellent, but everything in the case requires screws. Next time I will be going for a lower end model without the weird PSU mount. ... show more

Every single detail about this case is wonderful. Been using it for quite a long time now. Exceptionally quiet even with a couple "louder" drives (Toshiba x300, to be specific) inside. VERY good air-cooling potential, too. There's reviews for this case on YouTube. To give an idea of my own setup, I have left the original three 140mm fans in place and added a Noctua 140mm to the front bottom, one to the top left, and one inside my PSU replacing the PSU fan. The only (small) gripe I could have with this case is that having the PSU facing downward and sucking in didn't feel efficient to me. Can't remember why. Having its 140mm fan facing up into the case and changing it to blow in (I don't condone ever tampering with a PSU like I did, it's dangerous) feels highly efficient. Air-cooled, my 5700 XT idled around 39° this way. Buy this case if you want something roomy, quiet, and rock solid. Literally no other cases like this exist that I'm aware of. ... show more

Dark Base 900 v2 turned out to be versatile for the 360MM AIO cooler. It had to go on top, fans on bottom for clearing the BIG heatsinks on the ASUS EXTREME X670E Motherboard. It turned out sturdy, functional and heavy.

The top of the case was dusty, there was something white splattered on the sides of the case, and the side vent cover was not installed correctly leaving it bent. I returned it. Make sure to open right away in case you need to send it back!

Spacious, easy to work in. I use my PC for mass storage so I have a 1TB NVME that sits on my mobo then I have 3x8TB NAS drives that are in a RAID 5 array. PC runs incredibly quiet and quite cool, not the best for cooling but it's definitely up there...might add another fan or 2 in summer OR just remove the front door to the case, we'll see. Sadly it was hard getting this case in my country and I should've bought when Amazon had stock of it as it was going for around $260 or so but I ended up paying over $400 as I had to have it shipped from Germany. That being said it still worked out slightly cheaper than the Lian Li case I was considering from a local supplier. ... show more

It was shipped to me late and the top panel of the case on the left side of the panel all the tabs are broken otherwise it looks really good couple of zip ties will fix it but I really don’t want to ship it back to get a replacement because I’ve already waited a week and a half for it when I paid for faster shipping ... show more
