  • Was a little worried it wouldn't fit
I bought this cooler to put in a Cougar mini-itx case. I'd seen it done on youtube, but it wasn't as easy as it appears. I did it, and it is running like a charm. I haven't stressed the system yet, but temps at normal usage are 32 degrees, and the fan is turning at less than 900 rpm. The fan is temp controlled, but the pump constantly runs at 12v. I can't hear a thing. Placing the pump on the fluid tubing itself, just below the radiator is brilliant. ... show more

  • Pump Position Improvement
Recently, videos and explanations about the pump location have been shown, so I made a purchase. The lack of RGB can be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on the system. The appearance is lower than that of Kraken's products, but the noise and supplemental cooling water, pump location are merit. The most careful thing is to choose an external box option when shipping. In my case, extra coolant flowed. ... show more

  • Great for Ryzen
Great AIO watercooler. Stays very quiet and keeps my Ryzen 7 processor nice and cool. Idles at 25c - 30c. While gaming the high as it gets is 40c -55c. Mounting the cooler was pretty easy to the AM4 board plate. This replaced an IBuyPower AIO cooler which stopped working after 1 year. Highly Recommended. ... show more

  • The little AIO that could
I’ve heard many people tell me how useless 120mm AIOs are. “Get a name brand tower fan cooler” or things along those lines are usually the statements you’ll hear. Personally I had kept away from water cooling until now. I’ve been building PCs since Slot based CPUs were a thing. But I figured that I’d start small and go from there. I picked this AIO up to cool a Ryzen 5600X in a case that didn’t have many rad options due to my equipment and layout. I have 0 experience be quiet! equipment. But I liked the idea that the pump wasn’t in the rad or the block of the system. I was able to mount it properly with the pump facing down so no air will get caught in the pump (hopefully). The install was straightforward and easy with the AM4 setup. It re uses the stock back plate and the brackets mount easily and make for an easy mounting solution for the cold plate. No thermal paste is applied so you’ll do that yourself. I used Arctic MX-5. Personal choice obviously as it comes with some. I did swap the rad fan for a Noctua A12x25 Chromax as well. The aio fan still made its way into my system as a case fan. The AIO was easy to install overall and wiring up was easy as well. I’m not a fan of how separate the wiring starts but I did my best to manage them. One neat thing is that the pump is always at 100% and is powered via SATA, so no having to mess with speed curves. Mounting the rad was easy as well. The cold plate also has a removable “hood” so you can determine which way you want to mount the cold plate. Mine is mounted with the hoses on the RAM side. The cold plate also has an LED ring on it which glows white. If you don’t want to power it you don’t have to. Totally optional. Performance wise, I’m actually pretty happy with it. My CPU idles in the 30s and sometimes high 20s. Under full max load for hours of gaming or video editing, my CPU doesn’t pass 65c. My room is about 24c to start with normally so that little 120 AIO is doing a pretty decent job IMO. My air cooler in the same settings would hit about 71c under the same circumstances. And it was a “good name brand” air cooler as well. Granted my 5600X isn’t overclocked. Nor do I enable PBO. I only let it run at 75w max TDP (10w over the 65w normal?). I did try it with PBO and the temps were around 80c at 120w, which honestly is better than I expected anyhow. The performance gained wasn’t worth the uptick in temps and noise from my case fans. Another neat feature as well is the fill port. As time goes on these will lose coolant due to permeation etc. There’s a filling port on the rad that lets you top the system up. Hopefully adding to its life. Overall I’m happy with the results. The AIO does better than my air cooler did. ... show more

  • 120mm review
I purchased an AMD 5600x a while back and was just running it on its stock cooler. Playing games would regularly get temps up to 96 C. Swapped out for the 120mm pure loop cooler and my temps rarely get over 51 now. My only gripe is that there could be a little more thermal paste than what they provided. Other than that, great value. I'm very happy! ... show more
