The OEM exhaust manifolds on my RAM 1500 5.7L Hemi began leaking exhaust gases after 120,000 miles. The symptom was a ticking sound, very much like valve lifter tapping noise. After research it turned out that this is quite common on this engine as the manifolds will warp over time from thermal cycling and typically break one of the mounting bolts at the rear of the manifold. I found that the rearmost bolt on the driver side had broken off flush with the manifold, allowing exhaust to escape when cold. After warming up, the ticking went away. The passenger side was nearly in the same condition as the rear bolt easily sheared off when being removed. I had seen numerous recommendations for this brand of manifold as it had more material in the ribbed areas preventing the warping from thermal cycles over time. I bought the complete package as it was less expensive than each side separately. All bolts needed were included for the manifolds as well as the cat converter flange. Instructions covered different setups but were easy to follow. I was pleased with these manifolds in terms of appearance, hardware included, and everything just fit right. They do cost more than some others, but I did not want to do this a second time. ... show more

High quality, perfect fit. I hope I don't have to replace the manifolds again. OE manifolds warped and snapped a total of 5 bolts.

2017 Ram 1500 Crewcab RWD So far so good! This thing is beefy and we'll made! Follow the instructions and all will go smooth. Be prepared to keep swapping out numerous sockets and wrenches to get them on and off. Over smooth install, will update if any issues. Lastly, Remember to disconnect both sides of the of the flanges as it makes it easier to remove and install the drivers side( says in instructions). Don't try to skip this or it will make your task a living hell, and follow the torque procedure or it WILL leak. Keep torquing every bolt until all have stabilized and have not moved! If it does keep going until it does not move at specified torque. ... show more

Mechanic actually asked me where I got this set because he said it was incredibly easy to install and wanted to get a set for his truck. 4 stars because 2 of the bolts were missing and needed to be replaced.

This kit replaces my stock parts, where both manifolds had warped and broken the rear bolts, and passenger side had even developed a vertical crack. Weld the broken bolts out with nuts, even if you've never welded before. Nothing else worked for me. Very fortunate I didn't get myself in an unrecoverable situation by the failed drilling attempts, and broken off extractor. This kit fit perfectly, and I didn't have to move either exhaust pipe to get the new manifolds to attach. ... show more

Nice kit but they did not supply gaskets. That added hors an cost to the job by wasting time getting necessary, gaskets from Chrysler dealer.
