  • Great Boomie bass, needs reinforced!
Size: 15" Style: SINGLE VENTED Pattern Name: Enclosure
I will start off with the negative...The box was poorly sealed, with big gaps in the glue. Took a bottle of Gorilla Wood glue and sealed the hell out of the box. Now positive... Box is big! Had to force it into my trunk! But Let me tell you this box slams!!! Tuned to 35 hz, it hits 30-40hz with authority! I mean bass you can feel in your chest! Got a Soundstream Reserve RSW.152 and it slams in this box. Overall a great box for what i paid($81 out the door cost) but make sure you seal it up with wood glue when you get it or box will get beat apart by your sub. No tears in carpet like other people said, mine came in immaculate condition! Thanks for the great deal amazon, because now theyre $152.00! ... show more

  • Tuned to 37hz
Size: 15" Style: SINGLE VENTED Pattern Name: Enclosure
By reverse engineering the box dimensions into subbox.pro the box would be tuned to 37hz, being said I’m getting the most out of my system at 45~hz. On a gravity war zone 15” and a taramp md1200.1 in the back of a 09 impreza hatch. My box came a little beat up. Carpet coming off on the corners but overall the box is pretty good as far as a prefab goes. With the cost of materials now adays if your looking for a cost effective enclosure that’ll move some air and pop 140db this will do it and all for the same cost of building it yourself if not cheaper.. ... show more

  • Great box for price
Size: 10" Style: DUAL VENTED Pattern Name: Enclosure
Wasn’t 3/4 mdf, maybe 5/8 and a 1” faceplate which is nice. Sounds great though. Had to trim a bit to get my skar sdr 10s in but once I did they went right in

  • Sounds great
Size: 15" Style: SINGLE VENTED Pattern Name: Enclosure
Love the sound, it produces groovy lows and still got some punch. I was little disappointed when I pulled it from the single layer cardboard to see damage to the carpet exposing wood. Not a deal breaker for the price but damn! Kinda wanted it to look nice.

  • Awesome box!
Size: 12" Style: SINGLE VENTED Pattern Name: Enclosure
Well, if you look at the last two images, you will see where my sub (Toro Force 12) powered by a RF p1000x2 @ 2 ohms, literally ripped itself out of my first box a Qbomb 12 ported. Yeah...never had that happen in my life! I was impressed and upset all at the same time. So after doing some research I found the Atrend 12" SPL box. It was close to optimal size ( I did line the inside with polyfil as you can see in the first two images. This brought it to about 2.5-2.6 cu. ft internally. This box is KILLER! The response is outstanding! I currently have it running the Force 12 however stepped up my amp to the SKAR 2000.1. With the gain at nominal and the head unit setting the sub output to -1 it still kills it! I am more than happy with this box. Now, I did reinforce the walls with screws all the way around (Hey, I like to go the extra mile...) to make sure there were no kind of issues, but honestly, don't even think I needed to. Soundly assembled and the method they use is quite impressive. I am more than satisfied with Atrend and the box they build. ... show more

  • Good Sound Quality, So-so craftsmanship
Size: 12" Style: SINGLE VENTED Pattern Name: Enclosure
I decided to take a gamble on this enclosure recently due to accidentally damaging the terminal cup on my sealed enclosure. The enclosure I replaced was a Scosche Se12 (also purchased from Amazon) with 1.25 cu ft sealed footprint. Initial thoughts on this box is that the quality of workmanship happened to be shoddy. The corners at the bottom of the enclosure had the carpet already close to being worn off and exposing the MDF. The terminal cup appeared to be so tightly screwed and rapidly thrown in there that none of the screws were actually flush. All of the inside seams had sealed beading, but they were not uniform in any way. Some had too much sealant and some had too little. One of the corners had an excess of sealant in an attempt to mask an exposed staple. It ended up making that one spot look bad. The packaging was basically this enclosure in a cardboard box. The packaging on the Scosche enclosure had much more care involved - it was placed inside of two boxes, had the company's logo on a paper that was taped to the enclosure itself and then wrapped in plastic to make sure the carpet wasn't damaged. The Atrend enclosure itself was pretty basic -- no polyfill used on the interior, no internal pre-wiring. The Se12 had everything included to wire your speaker up immediately -- including Polyfill applied to the interior of the enclosure and pre-wiring already set up on the inside of the terminal cups. The pre-wiring may be a good or bad thing, depending on personal preference. In my case, I didn't mind cutting some new monster cable speaker wire and wiring it up myself. It made me absolutely sure I was using high quality thick-gauge speaker wire. Having to cut, crimp and wire everything ended up adding to the time needed to change out my subwoofer though. This Atrend happens to be 2.00 sq ft ported, which sits perfectly with my Soundstream T5-12. Their recommended enclosure size for ported applications happened to be 2.00 sq ft exactly. Once everything was mounted I was impressed with the sound quality and output of this enclosure. It's performance definitely bumped it up a star on my review. With the same receiver, amp and power settings this enclosure definitely cleaned up sound. It's inherent efficiency over a sealed enclosure provided more output; all things being equal. My ratings are below: Sound Quality: 4/5 Efficiency: 4/5 Value: 3/5 Craftsmanship: 2/5 Appearance: 3/5 ... show more
