Very easy to use. I put a tiny bit on a paper towel and wiped the bamboo board down. Let it sit for a few minutes. Wipe down the counter afterwards due to leftover residue from the board.

This mineral oil is very easy to apply. It is almost totally scent free. The fragrance that it leaves is actually pleasant. I used a minimum of two coats, leaving one day in between. The wood is deep toned, pretty looking, when you’re finished.

I have several guitars with ebony fretboards. They need to be treated occasionally to keep them from drying out. Food grade mineral oil was suggested on several guitar forums. This product seemed to fit the bill, so I ordered it. The results have been very satisfying. A very small amount on a cloth goes a long way. I purchased this to use on my wooden salad bowl and it worked great! My bowl looks in better condition now than when I first purchased it. This product is absolutely a great value for money because only a small amount is really needed. It is recommended to repeat the process once a month to preserve the wood. I squeezed a few drops onto a dry rag and let the product soak in for about 5 minutes. Afterward, I wiped the bowl with a new dry rag and it came out beautifully! I would definitely recommend 👍 I wasn’t able to snap a before picture for my salad bowl but did for my cutting board.
