    • No Caffeine In This One . . . .
This 500 mg Bayer is not exactly the same as the 500 mg Back & Body Bayer. That one has caffeine and this one does not, even though it shows it does on the current active ingredients listing on this page. Often I take low-dose Bayer, but this one is better for leg pain at times. I don't take it on an empty stomach, however, because years ago I got an ulcer from taking aspirin on an empty stomach. If you have a morning headache that you believe may be due to not having caffeine yet, the Back & Body would be your better choice. If not, this one would be better since it doesn't have caffeine, which can keep some individuals awake at night. P.S. If this doesn't work for morning headaches, as well as drinking caffeine doesn't work, do try a decongestion/antihistamine product, such as Advil Allergy & Congestion. Lots of times, morning headaches are often caused by sinus congestion, which doesn't always have congestion type symptoms. ... show more

Bayer Extra Strength has 500mg and NO caffeine. Bayer Back and Body is also 500mg and cheaper but they add caffeine. If you buy 2 bottles of this, and take the plastic preservative capsule out of both bottles, the entire contents of a 2nd bottle will fit in this bottle eliminating even more packaging. ... show more

When I get the slightest inkling of a headache I take ONE 500mg BAYER and the headache never materializes. I'm 74 and when my joints and muscles demand attention because I've abused them well over 50 years doing concrete construction I've trusted BAYER because my Dad trusted BAYER and he was a brick mason.     • It works!!
As a pain killer, aspirin works best fo me. I need the extra power, and this product has no caffeine, so I can use it at bedtime. It has no side effects that bother me.

    • Pretty Easy To Swallow & Helps Some With Pain
I take these for chronic pain which helps a little. But, one of the main reasons I take these everyday is because I have chronic angina. For me, this works better than nitroglycerin (they stopped working for me). The aspirin works very fast too which is very important since the angina is extremely painful. Right now, I'm having to treat myself because I'm still trying to get diagnosed. For me, this really is a "wonder drug"! I don't know what I would do with out it. I also like that they have it in the 500 mg dose since I do take it for pain also (arthritis & muscle pain). ... show more

    • The pain relief feels different from ibuprofen.
I have been taking aspirin just to try it. I grew up with a family that use ibuprofen and other. I find aspirin to be a good pain reliever. I do enjoy how I feel. I like the amount this is offering and the price-point.
