  • Good battlefield game
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
The game is good and fun to play. The new added elements like squad revive and fortifications are pluses that werent in past BF games. Not alot of content but the games dlc is free so the longer you play more will be available. Women soldiers are in the game but you dont have to choose them as characters if you have a issue with it. The graphics are on par with bf1 and look better IMO. To me its a better game than BF1. ... show more

  • Game is fine, EA is not.
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
Dear God, don't try to set up on a child account. Will not be able to play anything online - setting is based on existing EA account information. If this is for someone under 18, it will not let you do anything to play on a PS4 account already synced to an EA account that is considered underage. Game itself is fine, but parents or young buyers be aware of the restrictions. You cannot bypass them once you have linked. Set up on an adult account. ... show more

  • Still a great Battlefield game.
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
I was hesitant to purchase this game when it first launched because of all the bugs and people saying it's a horrible game, complete trash, worst battlefield game ever, etc. So I was thinking, "I guess I will skip this one." Now that it's around $20, I was like "Screw it, lets see why this game has so much hate." After playing this game for a few days, Battlefield V is still a great game. I haven't played the game at launch but as of today, it's playable, I haven't encountered any bugs, and it still feels like a BF game. I started playing the BF series with BC1 & BC2, then BF 1942, BF3 & 4, BF1, and now BFV. What I know and loved about the series is still here at it's core and I look forward to playing BFV until they release the next BF game. I think a lot of the negative reviews on here comes from gamers resentment towards EA's "pay to win & surprise mechanics" stuff. And if I remember correctly, one of the BFV developers said "If you don't like what their doing with the series, don't buy it." And well, people listened and didn't buy it lol. Well anyway besides all that drama, I still have fun playing the game and had a lot of Battlefield moments. It took me awhile to adjust to the gameplay but once I did, I felt right at home. But one thing I don't like very much in BFV are the maps. I would say it's the worst out of all the BF games. About two maps were decent and the rest were....Ehh. But it's a personal opinion of course. Still fun though. If your on the fence like I was, just buy it and try it out. Still a fun game but definitely not the best one in the series. Besides, It's only $20 now. ... show more

  • Great game
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
got this at a good price, well worth it considering that all its content is going to be free. The micro transactions suck but the games itself plays great.

  • Buggy good fun!
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
It's a bit buggy but i still have a blast playing this game with my friends the maps are awesome and huge and i feel i actually can get some kills rather than in call of duty where everyone is stupid good the playing field here is pretty level.

  • Disappointing
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
This had the potential to be great. I can’t help but comepare it to battlefield 1 since that’s the recent release. Honestly something are better in 5 than battlefield 1 but not many. I’ve been playing since the original battlefield 1942 and have played every single battlefield since. Some reviews have said that battlefield “went back to its roots” no they didn’t. I have no idea what they are talking about. The first 4 battlefields had a unique playing style which I sometimes miss but this game is not it. The guns are over powered. It doesn’t take much to kill someone or die. Now you can revive people even if you aren’t a medic. Now when you get hurt you have to press on the up arrow to heal yourself, otherwise you won’t automatically heal anymore. “Spotting” enemies is weird now and isn’t as helpful as it used to be. Now you pick up Ammo over dead bodies automatically which means you pretty much never run out of ammo which sounds cool but takes away some fun from the game in my opinion. When you kill someone or are taking over a base in conquest the game doesn’t make very clear what you are doing. Visually and with sound. Also, all of the players are “skinnier” than battlefield one. Like there bodies are small honestly. Harder to hit as you can imagine. Overall pretty dissatisfied with this battlefield which I hate to say because I am a huge fan. I unfortunately don’t see it becoming better with updates ... show more

  • Didn't work on PS5
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
Think I had bad disc or something - it wouldnt show up and load from disc. At 158MB download it would freeze. Contacted EA no luck. Bought a used version from GameStop and that worked. Not sure why, considering that this was brand new .
