This comes with the sides that fit Quest 3 installed but includes the sides for Quest 2, and I think that is really great, because maybe someday I'll upgrade to Quest 3, and it's nice to know I can just switch the sides back and it will still work! I did have considerable difficulty changing the sides, the instructions do not explain how to do it. What you have to do is remove the screw with the included screwdriver, but that is not enough, with the screw removed you CAN'T get it apart by just pulling on things. what you MUST do is put the screw back in the hole and get it to catch by just one thread, then push just the screw with the screwdriver, that will put pressure on the outside retainer and pop it off, once that is off, you can then unsnap the side and snap on the new side, put the retainer back in and replace the screw. Another thing that was not explained in the instructions was how to remove the original Quest headstrap, that does just unsnap, but it's really snapped on there really good. I found that if you pull it away back by the speakers the sides just pop off. The new strap just slides on to the original quest part with the speakers in it, just push it all the way until it stops... it doesn't quite line up on the Quest 2, but it does function just fine. The strap has a battery built in, and the Quest will act like it's still plugged in until that battery is drained, then it will start working with the Quest internal battery. To recharge both batteries, just plug the charger into the headset and leave that plugged into the Quest and both batteries will charge. Overall, now that I figured out how to switch the sides for Quest 2, I'm really happy with this. it's nice and comfortable and SO much better than the ridiculous head strap that comes with the Quest 2. The adjustment in back is easy to do by just turning the knob, and the padding is nice and comfortable. I find the battery in the back helps balance everything and it makes the entire Quest 2 much more enjoyable.

Charges very slowly. I get more functionality from the annoying charging cord that bumps into me and my arms. Don't know why this cost so much for its low power and capacity.

Does this work for anyone? Didnt charge my meta quest 3. Made sure it was fully charged before connecting to meta quest 3 but meta quest 3 battery kept going down and wasnt charging. Im only giving it a 3 star because I like the sleak design.
