I’m 💯 obsessed with this charger. I pop it in my purse and use it for any and everything! It charges my hot spot, phones, tablet, and my Apple multi port. On the go it’s great for my phone when I don’t have electricity. I wish it was just a tiny bit flatter in size but it’s still absolutely worth it. Very light and manageable. Might have to buy a bunch for Xmas gifts. So versatile, and battery lasts a long time. Would recommend
I was very skeptical when purchasing this S9 Battery case, as I had previously purchased a different battery case on Amazon, which happened to have some issues such as it would randomly stop charging the phone after a couple of minutes, the advertised 4400mAh battery would somehow discharge very quickly (charging the phone only about 30-40% before dying), and it provided very minimal protection to the phone, leaving the entire front glass exposed. This Feob Battery case fixed all of those issues. The 5500mAh Feob + the phones built-in 3000mAh battery lasted me an entire day with very heavy usage, (gaming, recording 4k video). However, 2 days was a bit of a stretch for my usage habits. The cases raised edges provide the phone with decent protection. Before purchasing this case, you must know that NFC functionality, like wireless charging, “Google Pay”, “Android Beam” won't work when this case is applied, and some tripods and most smartphone gimbals won't hold onto the phone, as the battery case adds some thickness, despite its very slim design. I can confirm that my DJI Osmo Mobile 4 smartphone gimbal does NOT work with this case applied. This case is however very slim and is built of good feeling materials. It slides in/out of your pocket very easily, but it is not necessarily slippery. One thing that is very important to me is to be able to sync data between my phone and computer with the type-C cable. This case did work with data transfer between a computer and phone. The reason I say this is because the previous case I purchased advertised that it worked to transfer data but in reality dint. But for whatever reason, it doesn't charge the phone at the same time. My guess is that a low power connection like that from a computer/laptop inst compatible with the case, and doesn't work properly to charge the phone, and case at the same time. This case does provide some protection to the phone if you drop it, but don't expect it to survive much. If you want a protective case with “military-grade protection” this is not for you. The carbon fiber power button to start charging the phone from the case battery feels very nice and is easy to reach. If you use the fingerprint scanner on the rear of the device, it may take some getting used to because your finger has to bend more to reach the scanner. You will get used to it very quickly however, you might want to re-program your fingerprint in the phone to make at faster to unlock with the new position of your finger that will be in contact with the scanner. Also, the 3.5mm headphone jack is cut big enough to fit most cords. Overall, I would recommend purchasing this case if you are somebody what has a Galaxy S9, and noticing the battery doesn't last long anymore or uses your phone a lot for heavy load tasks such as gaming and 4k video recording. The wireless charging and NFC won't work anymore, and your not putting much protection on your phone, But in return, you get a premium case with a nice battery that will last you all day + more. If you looking for a good Galaxy S9 battery case, I would recommend you purchase this case and don't go cheap out on a different one like I did. ... show more

An absolutely dreadful product. Here are four reasons why.

1. I strongly doubt it is 5000 mAh as claimed. It discharges quickly. 2. It discharges on its own, so you find your battery low AND this thing discharged. 3. It recharges INCREDIBLY slowly, even on a 50W adapter. It takes many hours. 4. The USB port is set so deep that many cables won't fit it. I had to buy an adapter. 5. It has an internal male pin inside the case. This is a huge point of potential failure; most cases no longer use them. Any leverage and the thing is utterly broken. Awful. Just awful. ... show more

Works well. In the future, I would probably do 2 clicks to turn on, and one to turn off. While in my pocket, it keeps turning on every time it hits something, and by the time I want to use it, the batteries are drained.

Really well designed high quality product & I'll tell you why...
I'm usually too lazy to write reviews but if a product is either really bad, or really good, I'll take the time. I have a unique perspective reviewing this product because I previously owned a competing product (which broke thus why I bought this one) and this one is much better. For starters, the previous one fell apart after about 16 months, which, with everyday use is not totally out of hand but it was definitely more cheaply made, this one has a much sturdier build quality. It also have a higher capacity, over 5500, the other was like 4800, and as we know, every little bit counts when it comes to battery life. The other thing that I really like about this one is the rate of it's passthrough charging, and this is a big deal and what prompted me to write this review. In short, it's the charging speed (regular or fast charging) that is achieved with the phone while it is being cable-charged and also in the case, meaning the charge has to pass through the case to the phone. In my previous one, it was slow charging; which means it takes something like 900 years to charge. J K but it can be something like 8 hours so unless doing it before bedtime slow charging is never gonna work. Therefore I would have to charge them separately. With this one, I'm getting fast charge through the cable, while encased. About 2 hours, which is the same as if it were cable charging not in the case. So the point I don't have to charge the phone and case separately anymore (even though technically it was possible). Now I can just charge up the phone while in the case and when it hits 100% it switches to charging the case battery. Lastly, this case doesn't get as hot as the other one when either getting charged or discharging into the phone. It's nice not to have a hot potato in my pocket when I'm case-charging my phone. The ONLY thing I like better about the old case was, and this is super extra, is that the case charging port was situated on the bottom of the case, similar to the charging port location of the actual phone. I think we are all used to fiddling with our charging phone and working around the cable at the bottom. This one the cable comes out the top. But having said that I think now maybe it's a good thing because one can put the phone right on their stomach if reclining and not have the cable sprout in the way, or they can use a stand without it in the way, so maybe that's just a personal preference of mine. Anyhoo, I wrote this whole review even after seeing that it's currently unavailable. But who knows, these items come and go; if it does come back into stock here is a user experience someone can review to decide. I give it my full recommendation. ... show more

The brick WORTH CARRYING!
This case will make your phone into a brick. It will bulge out your pocket and pull your shorts down. THAT SAID, WE LOVE THIS THING! My wife and I both have one and will never have another phone without one. After a while, the thickness of the case feels good in your hand. Rather, if you take the case off, the edges of the phone feel like it will cut your hand, the phone is too thin and you feel like you will drop it. I'm on my second case because the edge cracked. This is a second case for my wife who wore out her USB port. (Protecting your USB port is another great reason to have one of these.) I worried about whether these cases would protect our screens from droppage and neither of us has had a single damage problem in 4-5 years. I suggest the soft plastic screen protectors. The glass ones only lasted about 2 weeks. Now the real reason you're considering one is that you want more battery life. Neither of us has to plug our phones into a charger, except at night. My phone is 4-5 years old and my case is probably two years old. I can run my phone down and recharge it about two more times before I would have to use a cord again. Three phone charges with you at all times. Once you get used to that, a regular phone battery will feel totally inadequate! ... show more

This thing was fantastic! Until it wasn't....
Ok, I've only had a it for a couple weeks so I can't speak for the negative reviews that said it stopped working after a month or whatever, but right now it works and it's great. So, I play Pokemon GO and I normally can only play for 2 hours at most before my battery is dead. The other players around town use those Anker PowerCores and I got one too, but I just felt like I was wrapped in cables the whole time. So, I did a search and found this case and I have to say, I love it. It doesn't support QuickCharge or whatever, but it doesn't really matter because it's able to charge my phone at a greater rate than I'm able to use it so it's more than good enough. Maybe it'll stop working in a month and I'll regret saying these positive things, but for now, I think it's amazing. Update: Yeah, this thing basically stopped working. I probably used it five times total and now, if I charge it fully, it will charge the 3000 mAh Galaxy S9 battery to about 50% before being out. Theoretically, this thing should be able to charge the phone fully almost twice but no. It seems like it should be such a simple device that I have to assume that there's a better product out there. ... show more
