This buffer kit is impressive for the price. First of all, the nylon bag is well-sewn, durable, and has considerable space for the included pads, microfiber towel, and buffer unit. I can fit several other buffing/polishing pads that I have on hand as well. The adaptability to put the guide handle for left or right hand use is appreciated. And the nose of the unit serves as an additional way of holding the buffer. The buffer is powerful and can be controlled easily with both the trigger and adjustable speed dial. While substantial, the weight of the buffer didn't cause me fatigue. I did take note that the instructions do warn of overheating the unit so I did take breaks every 5 min or so for a couple of minutes. I don't have to do that with my old school buffer. Perhaps I was being overly cautious. The design on the body is fun, but did seem to be worn off in areas upon arrival, and I suspect it will scratch off over time. But it's a tool and not a fashion item. The detachable cord, though...it a great design feature. I like the idea of storing the buffer without the cord attached. This helps protect the wiring from any damage from getting bent. The included pads are a great starter set for those looking to buff out minor scratches on auto body paint and wax their car. The included accessory card gave me initial surprise that it could also be used cordlessly with the purchase of a battery. But upon further research, I discovered that the card did not apply to this model. That would have been a great additional feature. Alas, it isn't the case. Despite this, I do like the buffer kit and believe it's a good value.
