I travel a lot with my MacBook Pro for work. I have been through many cases that do not protect my computer or last. This is the best I have found. It looks and feels heavy duty but it does not add weight. It does a little to the thickness (see pic) but not too much. My MacBook fits in tightly and secure. I use a Side Trak additional monitor and the last case broke from the weight and cracked the bottom housing of my screen from digging into it. The way this fits, it does not put pressure on the screen.

this is a gorgeous durable case that doesn’t weigh a ton. I have dried cases that are just ridiculously heavy, and with me, needing to use both my laptop and my iPad in the same bag to go to college again at the age of 40 I find that this is just simple and clean and durable and the value is there. It has all the things that you need. You don’t have to buy extra accessories. Just get it.

I have had this for only a few days which is too early to give a complete review. The one thing I wish it had was a non-slip feature on the 4 "pads" if you will call them on the underside of the case. It slips easily. I am looking forward to having a good experience with it however.

I have had a similar case made by another company for a couple of years. For over a year, the case kept coming off easily until it would not stay on at all. This case attaches much more securely. The heavy duty plastic and the shape make it feel like it is very durable and shock resistant. It doesn't come off easily! I was also impressed because it came with not only a keyboard cover (as many do) but a screen protector!! It was the same price as the one I had before. I've only had it about 3 weeks but, I'm betting it will last a lot longer than that one and I already like it a lot! Would highly recommend.
