These are thicker and nicer than I thought that they would be. I got the purple color and they are a nice soft lavender shade. I will definitely buy them again.

We ordered and received the blue garbage bags. These are fairly thin but have worked well for us as bathroom trash can liners. I do not feel these are particularly hefty or that they can hold anything heavy, however, it has worked for our needs and is supposedly biodegradable which is definitely a plus. The price seems a little high at the current price point of $13.69, but I am admittedly not too familiar with the going rate for biodegradable trash bags.

I searched for 13 gallon trash bags biodegradable. Amazon recommended these bags. These bags are SO thin that you pull the trash out & the bag rips/falls apart. Waste of money and time. Hopefully, I can use them as doggie poo bags. Crossing my fingers that they will hold that. Don’t waste you money!

These are pretty decent compostable bags. The material is thin, but it has enough strength to deal with reasonable loads. No compostable bag will have the same strength and allow you to stuff it to the gills as a conventional plastic bag will. But, the compostable bag will degrade in the trash vs a plastic bag that just contributes to plastic waste. Forever. I'm more than willing to have a bit less strength in the bag for something that has long term benefits. The bags are sized for small trash cans or compost bins. They tear easily at the perforation and are not fussy when it comes to opening them up. I use them for small trash cans in the bathroom, and they have been working great. The smaller size puts a limit on how much it can hold so that the load doesn't exceed the bag strength. I've yet to have one split open on me. No complaints!

These bags are small, but appear strong. I am using them in a 5 gallon glass jar that I use as a compost pale. These bags fit perfectly secured with a large rubberband. They do not have any ties or any other way to "hold on" to your trash or compost recepticle. They don't have any odors and did not rip (but I've only used a handful so far and I do not overload them). I can;t speak to how fast they decompose and was unable to find this information on the packaging. 4.5 stars, rounding to a 5.

The significant other likes the color and thickness of these bags. Plus, they tout that they are waterproof. She claimed them for her makeup/nail/arts and crafts room. She has a 'fancy' trash basket (amongst the various trash baskets in that room), and said these would look so cool lining that basket. So, she took it away, haha. Being mindful of the environment, she said that it's great that the bags are based on corn starch and biodegradable. So, even when they decompose, there are no toxins to pollute the soil or ground water. She gave it a thumbs up for good color, good thickness and good size. Clearly, it satisfies her requirements. Based on her assessment, these purple, degradable garbage bags earns a 4.5 - 4.75 star rating, with a high level recommendation.

Smaller in size these are perfect for wastebaskets or, use in the kitchen for food debris or composting needs. Being biodegradable this makes them the perfect option for kitchen. **just note: these are not sized for the actual kitchen garbage can- these are small and made for your side jobs in the kitchen.. Made in lilac purple- these add a whimsical touch as a bag liner.. they can dress up any boring wastebasket just by adding a dash of color!! A 5pk. with 20 bags per roll equates to 100 for $11- a solid price for the quantity. I do love this set up- 5 separate rolls!! Its perfect! I can leave x1 roll under each bathroom counter and x1 in the kitchen.. very convenient indeed! Plastic material is NOT thick.. held to a light, it’s almost see-through but, what this does have is a really nice stretch. *One should be careful when placing sharp content inside.. ie. pineapple skin! I’m assuming the overall makeup of this bag is due to its biodegradable asset- Just be aware and double bag.. or even go with a plan B in these circumstances. Otherwise, these are a solid option to put to use. Hoping this info can help your decision- stay safe.
