These boards are really easy to cut through with my 20 watt laser cutter. There is minimal charring on the cut edges and the grain is excellent on the boards. I haven't found any pieces with blemishes or nicks. The boards are flat, when exposed to humid air for several days they will warp but can easily be held down on a honeycomb laser board with basic holders. It's a good options for a thin board to make hobby cuts or more complex pieces. I have had a lot of success with bent pieces with these boards.

These basswood sheets came in a 24-pack and measure 11-13/16" x 11-13/16" x 3mm. They have excellent smooth surfaces with nice grain and little to no blemishes. The edges did not have any burning on them and were very nicely cut. They were all relatively flat. In the description they mention basswood, balsa, and Baltic birch, so the inner ply could really be a mixture of any of those, but the inner core was fairly high quality with no voids and was nicely packed. Actually, looking at the surface of some of the pieces, some of them more look like a fine grade Baltic birch than just a generic basswood grain. Overall, these are really nice sheets that cut well and can be used for all sorts of projects.

I have recently gotten a laser engraver so I'm working on building up some inventory. I originally wanted to get these as some practice wood because it wasn't super expensive, so honestly I wasn't expecting quality. I have to say I was definitely surprised at the quality. They are very nice pieces and I've been able to make some very nice things using these. They cut easily and engrave beautifully.

Got this set of 24 pieces so we could practice with our new laser. The thickness is perfect for making small stuff for my craft shop or my daughter’s dioramas. We made a few different things so far, played around with just larger pieces and smaller more intricate designs. So far we haven’t found designs we haven’t been able to cut out. My husband did some small keys to help us know what settings to use for cutting or burning designs into the wood, this was very helpful. The bundle we got was more than enough for a lot of practice pieces, plus some extra for our needs anyway. Every piece was very smooth with no cracks or broken pieces, no bowed ones either. I would definitely recommend this for beginners or serious crafters needing many pieces, the price per piece seems like a good value especially when they are all good quality.

This wood was perfect for the project I had in mind - creating puzzles. It cut well and was weighty enough to make it easy for folks to reassemble the puzzle pieces. The photo we used for the puzzle also glued on easily--good hold. Overall really happy

These have been hit or miss for me on the laser engraver. There seems to be a lot of gaps in the layers, which pretty much ruins an engraving. The faces looked great, but they layers have cost me hours in engraving time. I would say if you're using these for something other than engraving, great. If you're planning to use a laser with them, spend a little more and get something of higher quality.
