I love the premium quality of the CRAFTEKER Basswood Plywood Sheets. The quality was evident as soon as I opened the package and examined the sheets. I got an idea of the quality just by the storage box the sheets come in, it is a perfect way to store the sheets in my workshop to prevent them from being damaged. The sheets are as flat and smooth as a piece of glass, not a bit of twisting or warping and no sanding is needed other than a light scuff to improve paint adhesion. I do my craft cutting the old school way of using a scroll saw to cut intricate shapes and it is a pleasure cutting this wood. I did a practice cut and was lazy so I used the 360° blade that was in my saw already even though they are not recommended for thin wood because it may shred it. I was stunned with how well it cut a tiny, delicate shape without breaking apart, so I then switched to a skip-tooth blade and proceeded to cut that piece down the middle. I ended up with a delicate piece less than 1mm wide and the basswood was still holding together without splitting. It was so delicate that I dropped it and lost it before I got a photo of it. If it cut this well with a scroll saw, I can imagine what intricate, delicate pieces could be cut from the basswood by using a laser saw.

What I Like: 1. Dimensions specified in the listing are accurate. (You can't take that for granted these days.) 2. All surfaces are smooth and I don't see knots or other surface issues on the blacks I received. The quality control is good. 3. Blanks are 1/8th of an inch thick, suitable for laser cutting. 4. I plan to use decorative furniture rubs-on decorations on mine, after affixing them to the front edge of those wall steps for cats, to offer my furry house goblins more 'hideout' spots from which to terrorize me. 5. If you have any woodworking experience, or experience with unfinished wood crafts, this product is easy to use and offers unlimited creative possibilities. 6. The price at time of review is $27. That's a bit over $2 per blank. Face it, neither you nor I would make these for $2 each, so the price is a fair one. What I Dislike: 0. No issues, no notes.

I’m a visual artist that likes to paint on wood rather than canvas for smaller projects. Up until now I was buying the wood panels that have a border frame, which are nice but also crazy expensive….these are the perfect remedy! They arrived exactly as described, all 12 are a perfectly good surface to work on, no chips our gouges or flaws that I can see. I seal these with acrylic medium rather than gesso because I like the grain to show through for some pieces, but gesso is probably better at sealing overall if you’re using these for fine art painting. I like the thickness as it should hold up against warping or breaking. So happy, I have 12 new ‘canvases’ at a bargain price, major art studio score!

It’s pretty good and better than several other brands I’ve gotten off Amazon this year, but about the same quality I’ve bought elsewhere although more expensive. It’s flatter than a lot of others, pretty good dimensionally, but my pack got a messed up corner. Messed up corners may or may not be a problem for your projects, but I’m surprised since it’s in a cardboard box and shrinkwrapped. Either way I measure it just over 12”x12” and just shy of 3mm. It is SUPER smooth, which is nice, and lasers like butter as I’d expect. Normally I buy in bulk from lumber shops, but sometimes you need a bit of materials in a hurry and that’s where something like this comes in, even at tad of a cost increase.

I use these as photo backdrops for the products I make and sell. They're thin and light, very flat, and the show surfaces are clean and smooth. They make perfect photo backdrops for obviously smaller items. They come packaged in a nice storage box, and are shrink wrapped to minimize/eliminate any warping. The ones I received were all very flat. They're not too expensive, and this pack should last me a long time, so I'm happy with them.

The media could not be loaded. This Plywood is nice ! I do laser cutting and engraving and this plywood works great. It cuts very easily, the glue seems to be more consistent than other brands which is important for a uniform cut. The size, width, length and thickness are all true to size. Most important is that the thickness is consistent from sheet to sheet, so when you get your settings dialed in, they work for each sheet you cut. I highly recommend these plywood sheets.
