I agree to Pchem and I find really hard to beleive many of the other reviews are true. The book is the equivalent of 5 minute informal chat with a newbie bass player. General, fuzzy and imprecise information. The foreword of any good book or any good introductory video (as those published for free by people like Janek Gwizdala, Tony Grey or Scott Devine) will give you by far better information on the few subjects this book covers. There is no merit to this pamphlet (I wouldn't call it a book, since it is less than 10 pages long) whatsoever. It is amazing that such an item would even be listed for sale by Amazon.
