I only had these set up for 2 days, so I don't know lifespan, yet.. That being said, so far they are exactly as advertised. Brightness is 7 of 10. 10 levels of brightness to adjust to. Installation was easy with adhesive Velcro, clips, and zip tie like pieces. Only complaint is the outside casing would be better if it stuck out further than the lights to help make them a bit more indirect. And the Velcro is strong, I fear trying to pull the Velcro apart while it's stuck to the LED, I feels like I may break the light trying. I would suggest to separate the Velcro a few times to loosen it up before sticking it to the light. But other than that, I am very happy with price and quality, does exactly what I want. UPDATE: Week later, hardly warm to the touch on all 4 and not flickering. Still good so far... ... show more

My first thought when I opened the package was that they look cheap and from china. I plugged them in and played with the remote and they are amazing! I can't wait to install them into my kitchen! They have a wide range of colors in which I most likely won't use all the bright colors in my kitchen because it would look distasteful; however I totally will during holidays and having friends over for get togethers. I planned to use the white or slight blue in or under my cabinets. It also has other options that changes the colors every few seconds. A really cool product, my daughter is grown now, but I would've loved to have them for her room when she was younger and can also see other uses. We have done a complete DIY redo of my kitchen. I recently painted the cabinets white with chalk paint, and finishing with a wax, opened up one cabinet to not having doors and added spindles to hold my new dishes and racks to display crystal wine glasses, and added glass to two of my cabinets so that you can see inside with doors closed. Point being, a decorative and finished look in my kitchen. I had originally planned to put these lights inside the cabinets that have glass, but now I plan to attach these under my cabinets for one light per small cabinet, and two for the wider two door cabinets. I read online that I can also purchase an adapter to tie in my 3 units so that I can control them with one remote control. The lights are bright and I’ve had no major issues. It was an easy install and the cables were a decent length (6ft). Make sure to buy the company’s extension if you’ll need more length. Seeing as I got the Bluetooth version, I’m dissapinted with the app. I never have connection problems, but the app’s functionality is extremely basic and unnecessarily outdated. If these were just the normal lights than it would be 5 stars. I got these lights with the intention of making them different colors at the same time. 1 pack of 4 lights can only be one color at a time so I bought 3 packs (12 lights) and planned on making every 4 a different color. With the remotes, that is possible. Problem is, when you have all the nodes cable managed in one area, it’s too frustrating to pin point the 4 lights you want to change with the remote. And it’s actually not possible with the app. You can only change ALL lights with the app, not just one “set” of lights. The app does have “smart” options like fading in between colors. I got used to keeping it on a “3 color fade gradient” if I don’t feel like picking a single color. You also can’t save a certain color once you’ve found one you liked. For example, when messing with the rgb dials to make purple, you can’t save purple, you have to “make” purple every time. That’s a bit ridiculous. All in all, if you’re like me and planned on getting multiple sets to have them be different colors like a dude on YouTube advertised, it’s not practical. The lights don’t have memory so once you shut them off (yes, even with the app, as another reviewer incorrectly reassured) the lights reset. Either accept that they all have to be 1 color (using the app) or separate the Bluetooth nodes far enough where you can use the remotes comfortably without activating another node. I would personally find it a chore to always use the remote to hand pick each set’s color every time. I actually love these lights and there’s absolutely nothing out there that compares to the price and functionality. Much easier and cheaper than using expensive/short smart LED strips and perfect for Ikea kallax units. The app is just handy enough to get the job done, albeit needing some TLC. Definitely worth the extra $5 (at the time of this review) to get the Bluetooth version. P.s. some small 3M cable clips go a long way with providing some neat cable management. ... show more

My wife and I bought these in Oct 2018. Installed super easily under our kitchen cabinets and have used them everyday for four years. I’ve never had to readjust the adhesion or anything. We’re also super lazy, the remote is there but we don’t bother. We’ve had them on pretty much at all times during those four years. Don’t know the last time they were turned off. Awesome lights. Highly recommend. Update: it’s Jan 2024 and these suckers are still on non stop with zero issues. Last Update: they flickered like crazy today then just died abruptly. The lifetime for ours was almost 6 years non stop. Pretty awesome. Buying another set now to last us until 2030. ... show more

We are renovating our bathroom and ordered these lights to light up our shelves. They're bright, change colors, and are super fun. But, when they arrived one light didn't work. We tried to fix it but it was the light itself that didn't work. We contacted the company and they sent us a whole new set to replace it. They responded quickly and sent the replacement quickly.
