In my search for loc hydration, I decided to get Bask & Leather Hydrating Mist. The ads were appealing and part of my search is products I don't know, that nobody i know has tried. So far, I'm getting the hydration I'm looking for. My locs are waist length and medium small. I have 4C hair that has a hate/hate relationship with moisture. So for $20 I got this mist. I absolutely 100% hate the smell. Omg! I prefer good smelling oil and moisturizer, but not so much with this. It's earthy and musky. Be clear, it doesn't stink, i just don't like it. I'm still using it, because A) I paid $20 for it and 2) so far, it's WORKING!! The smell eventually dissipates so that's a first world problem I can handle but as far as hydration, it's a resounding YES! So far this, Batana Oil and Jamaican Black Castor Oil (Mango) are my hair current routine. My hair is soft, the longer lengthy locs always feel like straw to me. Not anymore and it has only been 3 days! Now, I'm aware that they all other products in a bundle with this mist and maybe I will try them but for now I'm happy with the products in my routine. **Update** I absolutely love that my hair doesn't feel saturated when I spray what seems like alot of this mist. I use it on my scalp and spray root to tip. It doesn't leave and oily residue on my hands and my hair doesn't feel wet. This is until the spray bottle this comes in just STOPPED working. It was giving me a hard time for a few days then it just stopped spraying. It was still half full, so I put it in a spare spray bottle. Horrible idea. It sprayed so heavily, so I had to do it differently to avoid that soaked result. However, I write this update as I order another bottle and change my review to 5-stars. Ohh, my gosh...this stuff is worth every penny! You spray it where you need it and whala! Softer! Tamer! And perfectly managed hair that you'll absolutely love! I could feel so relieved after using it for the first time. Having difficult hair to tame, I must admit, that I initially, I dreaded teyimg out the product, but I began to expierience, more hydration, and softer hair, like in moments!
