  • Better quality than some rigs at this price. Very adjustable. Complex but easy to redo.
Once finished the build is great. Sturdy, and comes with a power switch and motherboard platform and plenty of standoffs for the motherboard. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge but nothing more than an advanced lego set. Even better, you can undo the whole build without damaging anything. Or use it to make your own custom setup. It's fully modular yet extremely strong. I only wish I could stack it directly on another just like it, without buying shelves. But then that would make it too perfect. The instructions are a little confusing. They are printed very well with photos but there is no context to half of them. But you can eventually figure out what is going on by the images if you look close enough because most of the parts are visible. Except for the clear plastic parts which I eventually figured out is for resting the GPUs on and the other for securing them. The power button had a slight issue with screws binding on each other from inside the standoffs. Even after I used washers. I think I used the wrong screw pack for that though. If that issue comes up just try another screw set in one of the many bags. The screw and nut used inside the rail is a little difficult to manage at first. But you can easily slide them in from the side of the bars for most of the build. They can fall out easily so always position the build to where you are putting the screw into the nut going downward with gravity, that way they don't slide around or fall out. From the top-down view, you can use a thin plastic zip-tie under the nut and pull it up on one side and allow the other side to drop in more easily. There will be at least one moment where you need to do exactly that after building the frame out and the sides are not accessible anymore. Overall this is a great build and packaged well. You can easily adjust for any size GPU, Even have enough room on the bottom for a tall air cooler on the CPU which many other rig frames do not allow. ... show more

  • Very Solid, Great Materials, Fairly Easy to Assemble Very Solid, Great Materials, Fairly Easy to Assemble
Note: Card boxes in the pictures are for size reference. I didn't know how big the frame was and was pleasantly surprised that it was not "huge". I did expect it to be larger but this size is actually perfect for 6 cards. All the frame parts are adjustable, so you can slide the bars however you need to support any size card, which is nice for rigs with mismatched cards. I have mostly two fan models but do have a couple of three fan models, so the adjustment works out perfect for me. What impressed me most was the fact that the frame is very solid, there is no wobble at all and the parts fit together snugly. Acrylic motherboard tray and PSU plate fit perfectly and their thickness provides stability for the base. Two PSUs fit perfectly and you probably won't need PCIe or riser cable extensions to reach the far side of the frame. The power button is also a very nice feature. The only thing to note is that the instructions aren't super clear about small details. There are pictures of every step and a list of parts you'll need for each, but there could definitely be more explanation. Overall, though, if you have half a brain in your head you'll be fine. Protip: make sure you put washers on the bolts that hold the L-bracket parts. The instructions were unclear on this point and I had to go back and add them later. While they don't say it in the description I am sure you could stack these if you got some aftermarket threaded rods and created your own fasteners. Overall, great frame, well built, light weight, easy to assemble (took me about 2 hours), and it is priced well, especially when it's on sale. Will buy again when I build another rig. ... show more

  • Quality craftsmanship, lackluster instructions
Definitely higher quality than I expected. The aluminum rails with the square nuts allow you to adjust the frame to just about any configuration you can think of, securely. It came with some basic assembly instructions but will require quite a bit of “figuring” and trial and error beyond the basic frame assembly, but all in all not too difficult. It took me a couple of hours over the course of two days to assemble it, if you have done it or similar ones before, it should be able to be done in an hour. The acrylic ships with brown paper protective covering, and the assembly instructions even shows the paper on the items during assembly. If you want it to look nice, don’t leave the paper on lol. Each step and part has a separate little bag of screws or pieces for assembly, making keeping the items sorted super easy. Would definitely buy again. ... show more

  • Decent hardware, severely lacking instructions
Alright the other reviews here are accurate, the quality of the hardware itself is decent, although quality of life is solidly missing. The addition of spring loaded tee nuts would make assembly/adjustment FAR better. That being said, for the cost this is a decent kit. It does the job it's advertised to do, nothing more, nothing less. Speaking of assembly, the "instructions" are for lack of a better word, "guidelines", it's a build your own way sort of thing. They'll get you there with a lot of interpretation, but it's by no means a step by step guide. The measurements on everything are left completely open as to say, "build it to your specs", but the various panels require some dimensions. I.E. for the motherboard plexi panel on the bottom, you'll want minimum 317.5mm (12.5") between the largest gap on the bottom panel and the next 2020 extrusion. For the Mid line to top bar PCIe gap, I found 120mm (4 3/4") to be acceptable to fit the card + pcie pcb + 3d printed mount to attach everything. The "square nuts" that are included do the job, but are rough, and 1 out of 4 don't fit into the extrusions without forcing them. Sometimes the outliers pull out when tightening, again some spring loaded tee nuts would be a low cost but a fantastic addition to something like this. Regarding the instructions, pretty much every screw that attaches a corner bracket to a 2020 extrusion MUST use a washer, or the screw bottoms out on the extrusion and won't tighten up. YET they don't provide clear indication of this in the instructions OR enough washers to do this AND to use against the fragile plexi used for the PSU bracket or Motherboard Panel. Oversights maybe, but things to consider, or at least prepare for yourself. You can easily get additional washers of 4x10x0.8mm for your own use. The bags of various parts are clearly labeled, a solid plus. Yet the decision to throw parts in the same bag that are not used in any part of the assembly in adjacent order, definitely leads to some confusion. ... show more

  • It took some some time to assemble It took some some time to assemble
I'm the king of buying stuff and using it for something other than its intended purpose. I compared this to some of the test benches availible and I'd rater spend $30 to DIY over $200 premade. It did take a couple of hours to assemble. The other review is accurate, you need to plan it out or you will be taking it apart to get nuts out of or into channels. I would have liked a more secure way to mount the gpu. I realize it's meant to be stationary but 2 mounting points at the ends of the plastic adapter give some play in the middle, especially when gravity is the only thing keeping the card in place on the back end. I fixed it with zip ties so no big deal. Overall I recommend it. If for no other reason, the mobo tray is perfect. It came packaged well and there were no parts missing. keep the instructions handy but don't rely on them. ... show more

  • Well Designed, Well Fabricated
This rig was well engineered and fabricated, sturdy, not the flimsy crap I've seen elsewhere. The screws for motherboard and power supply line up perfectly, the power switch and LEDs were an added bonus. Screws and misc components were bagged and labeled with quantities, I was quite impressed. Instructions could use some work but I enjoy puzzles so assembly was enjoyable, would suggest an assembly video for folks less inclined. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this purchase, it does what it was designed to do perfectly and is ascetically pleasing to someone who is mildly OCD. Would highly recommend and would purchase again for my next rig project. ... show more

  • Have 4 hours to spare? Others are better
Not worth it unless I’m a major pinch. This frame will minimum take you 4 hours to assemble. Where other frames like Veddha will have predrilled holes that allow you to easily level the frame this does not. The instructions are lazy and should just a link to a quick video. This should be no more than $99 and honestly... better frames exist. Save your cash not worth it. ... show more

  • Well made, high attention to detail.
I understand for packing it had to be broken down, but who ever is the person who made this is definitely a quality job 1 guy or gal. Lot of assembly, instructions are very simple and very good. Would say some of the pictures could be magnified just a tad as upon reading difficult to read (regards to the aluminum beams and their item numbers). Let's just say they even included a screw driver and parts bags properly identifying the parts inside. ... show more
