Have never used Barska scopes on high powered rifles. Just on rimfires, and they do not disappoint. This scope is no exception. The stadia lines on the reticle are true at the specified magnification, the turrets have audible and tactile clicks when adjusting. The glass is clear even at 20x, and the scope tracks properly. The parallax adjustment on the front optic bell is very firm, but rotates smoothly and the gradiations for range are very close to actual distance. One of the few "budget scopes" with an illuminated reticle that actually does just that. The center of the reticle is illuminated, and the light doesn't overpower the glass on highest setting, either green or red. For the money this scope is an exceptional value. Again, I would not recommend putting one of these on a high powered rifle. But for rimfires and low recoil centerfire rifles, they are hard to beat. UPDATE.... Less than 200 rounds in with a .22 long rifle and the scope is shot. I tried 3 different scopes to verify. Windage and elevation adjustments move with every shot fired. First Barska scope that I have ever had fail me. Returning for refund and will purchase a name brand optic. ... show more

Good scope. I’ve had good luck with Barska products in the past and didn’t hesitate buying this scope. The only complaint would be that the tube diameter is 30mm, NOT 1”, as described.

Scope seems to be an okay scope for the price but if your putting this on a large Caliber gun I recommend getting a different scope the scope requires your head to be too close to it my fear is that I would get scoped

These are gimmick scopes. Made to look “cool” or seem like a real scope but they are nothing but junk. Wouldn’t hold a zero on a bb gun. They’re cheap, because they’re not even worth that much. Wouldn’t put one on a pellet gun if I was paid to take it.
