  • Love it!
Style: 7.5' - Springdale
This is a great non-slate table. It's leveled up good with the levelers and the flatness is pretty close to perfect after tinkering with the adjustments under the playing surface. It feels like I'm playing on a slate table. Anyone who has played plenty of pool knows what I'm talking about. It has a very hard surface feel to it. The banks have great rebound bounce to them. Two of us carried the main part of it from the garage and carefully brought it down the stairs one step at a time resting it here and there on the stairs. I would recommend doing it with 3 or 4 people if you have them. The assembly is a little involved and would go together better with two people rather then just one like I had to. You will need at least two people to transport it and to do the final stretch of assembly. I will add that the outside of the legs are plastic that is a synthetic wood looking surface. When I assembled it under bright lights I was thinking hmmm I don't know. Where I have the table and the lighting I'm using for the pool room it doesn't matter. I have the surface of the table well-lit up but the surrounding room is dim. The legs look like they are made of wood with the lightning I have. The legs could be a deal breaker if you put the table in a room that is completely bright every where. The plastic look might not be what you want. The pool sticks are good enough for beginners to start with but recommend getting better ones. One of the two that came with it is not straight. I'm very happy with the seller and the shipping company they used. If you're looking for a good looking table, that has an excellent playing surface at a great price this is the table for you. I give this table, the seller and the price for the table an A+. ... show more

  • Laughable and extremely overpriced table
Style: 7.5' - Springdale
This table is a complete joke! I bought it for my business and man was I disappointed! I wanted something between professional and junk. What I got was two grades below junk. I wouldn't pay $200 for this table so I feel like I was swindled out of $1200. I called Amazon IMMEDIATELY to take this back from whence it came. * It is uneven, even though my level says it's even all over the table. This is because the actual playing surface, the most important part, is WARPED! I place a ball near the wall and it rolls to the wall like a magnet. * The balls roll like they are flat. Lol They don't roll smooth or freely at all. This is due to the cheap felt that they covered the table with. It doesn't even feel like a normal pool table. *The bumpers... It was so bad, I called Chase and told them I wouldn't be doing any banking today. Yes, they are really that bad. The ball won't even come back halfway after a hard shot. * The parts are cheap. It feels like wood they use for Karate demonstrations. Holes don't line up at all and I had to have help to bend some boards straight while I drilled in a screw or bolt. Other times I had to make holes. * Just throw the cues in the trash. They are so cheap it's embarrassing. * Assembly was simple and straight forward and I had all the parts. That is what earned them one star. If you want great forearms though, put this thing together with a screwdriver and ratchet. If you don't, have a drill handy with metric sockets and a Philip's bit. ... show more

  • Great Table for the Price
I'd recently joined an APA pool league and wanted a table that looked great and allowed me to practice at home (I needed it). I saw this table and loved the look, size (it fit the space I had!), and the price. When it arrived at the local carriers, I received a call - my table had been badly damaged during shipment. The carrier, Amazon and the vendor all did an amazing job in getting a new table sent in very short order (I think I got my new, undamaged table in about a week). Unfortunately, the 2 other guys that I was going to have help me move this into the house were no longer available - just me and my girlfriend...Do yourself a favor, GET MORE PEOPLE. Somehow we managed though, and the table went together nicely (you REALLY need more than two people to get the table turned over onto is legs...). Now for the looks - this thing looks amazing. No, its not an $8,000 pool table. No you won't see it on T.V. at nationally televised events. But the wood with the black felt and "concrete" looking legs is a very stylish modern look. Its for you, your family, and your friends to have some fun on. One small "wish they had" - I wish they had included a hook to hang the rack on somewhere underneath the table. No worries though - Home Depot is right around the corner. ... show more

  • It is good enough
Style: 7.5' - Springdale
The box had significant damage on the outside, but no damage inside, so that was a good start. I had a few issues with the assembly. First, and least important, the decorative plastic leg shrouds do not connect well. The screws easily tear through the plastic, and the instructions say to put the foot mount on after the plastic leg shrouds, but doing so puts so much pressure on the plastic that one of them broke slightly. It should be done in the other order. Having said that, I can always just glue the shrouds, so this isn't a huge deal. Speaking of the foot mount, one of them had holes that didn't line up with the metal, so I had to re-drill to get it on. Finally, the most time-consuming part was bolting the table to the base, which was difficult because the holes didn't line up well. I think there were 18 bolts, and it took quite a lot of screwing/unscrewing and jamming the table back and forth to get them all in. I think it took me three hours to assemble, but without those extra problems it would have been about two hours. I was able to assemble it myself without help, but it is very heavy, so I would recommend a second person to help put on the top. As for play, I had some difficulty leveling it, and the rails are fairly dead in spots, but it is good enough to enjoy. I have only had it for a week at this point. ... show more
