Let me say - I am addicted to these lights. Over the last few years we have removed and replaced all the old florescent lights at our house. I have gotten the 4ft and the 8ft ones. These lights install easily and really work great. It is amazing how it changes a space by providing good light. We have put them in our Garage, workshop, utility room and everything I go and turn on the lights, I am really happy these are installed. And the price is very reasonable.     • Pay ATTENTION ! Direct wire only!

Installed 3 rows of 2 each on white metal 10 ft. high ceiling inside 2 bay 24 x 30 detached garage. These are direct hard wire only -no plugs. The pigtail supplied for that is under 24” which is way too short unless power is available within 12 - 18” of the light. The LEDs are in single row per side and would provide more light if some reflection from the ceiling could be had. The LEDs are bright, but that lack of reflection reduces overall performance. Used 1” gray plastic conduit clamps to hang, 2 each, which is more secure than provided clips. Mounted 6 of the 10 keeping the 4 for replacements, but may try a high wall mount to gain some reflective light. The verdict is still out whether I would buy again, but it’s difficult to plan adequate lighting for a working space. UPDATE: The 6 lights are bright enough for the shop. Since all supplied wiring is 18ga, I suggest solder tinning the wires before making the hardwire connection. I’m not a basher. Just wanted to give honest opinion for those trying to decide. ... show more

THE LIGHTS ARE BRIGHT, CUSTOMER SERVICE NO SO BRIGHT, THEY SOUND NICE BUT IN THE END THEY DO NOT SUPPORT THE CUSTOMER, WAS RECOMMENDING THESE LIGHTS BUT IF YOU CANT TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMER I HAVE ZERO RESPECT FOR THEM.
