I love the color and texture of these shakers, The grid like lattice finish is laser cut and has easy to hold texture. This makes shaking cocktails so much easier, as the outside of a shaker with condensation can become slippery. This interesting finish is both beautiful and purposeful. I love it in gold! This handsome set can be used individually or together as top and bottom. I do have other shaker tops that fit these as the size of them are pretty standard. When sitting on my bar, with the impressive 14 KT Gold look, (Gold plated) and the diamond finish, these appear more as luxury items, when in fact, they are actually very reasonable cost-wise, and come in a in a set of 2! 5 drinkable stars!! ... show more

The shaker set is really stunning to look at -- the etched diamond pattern gives it a decorative flair but also allows for a nice grip on the shaker. The pieces do fit well together, and I'm still working how to get a good release, but it's not been a fight like I've experienced with other cocktail shakers. The material is solid -- there is a very slight give to the metal, not at all flimsy, but that's where you can get a good fit and release.
