I have toned down my makeup routine as I have gotten older. I gravitate towards the neutrals that enhance my appearance & don't look so obvious that I'm wearing makeup. I'm a fan of the Bare Minerals brand & they nailed it with these colors. The darkest color could easily be used as a smudged eyeliner or just at the outer corners of the eye for a bit of evening glam. The other 5 shades are lovely; some are matte & the others have a bit of sparkle to them.

I bought this to replace the loose eye shadow from Bare Minerals when I ran out of two of my favorite shades. These colors don't seem to be as bold as the loose shadows they're replacing, so I need to use a little more to get a similar effect. Also, these have a bit of glitter to them, and my old ones were matte, which I prefer. But that's my fault for overlooking that detail when I placed my order. All in all, this is a nice set, and I like that the color doesn't fade before the end of the day. It comes in a cute case, even though a bit pricey. I would recommend this compact eyeshadow.

I purchased this set in Heather and it is absolutely beautiful. I love that you can combine the colors in many different ways as well as their intensity by layering on more product for more intense color or less for casual every day wear. I purchased the bareMinerals mineralistic eyeliner in topaz and it’s a perfect match looks great. I really like the packaging of this product and the stretchy elastic band that you can pull over the entire package to keep it closed.

Nice neutral color pallet. The idea is nice! The execution terrible! Very weak, light color pigment. No matter how much you try building the colors…it’s just very faint. Disappointed from Bare Minerals with this one.
