Looked at a lot of different American Flags and Poles. Was looking to fly Old Glory off my balcony on the second floor. the 3X5 flag looks great! Thought 3X5 would be a little too large, but I'm happy with the size and get lots of compliments. All the stars and stripes are stitched with thick quality thread, the colors are bright even after flying outside for almost a year though rain and direct sunlight. Looks as good as the 1st day! The 1" diameter, 6ft pole is sturdy and has some weight to it, I could tell it will last along time as its powder coated black. The pole has adjustable tangle free quick connectors. The flag doesn't tangle even in heavy wind. Mounting the pole to my wood post was quick and easy with the provided hardware. Had the pole mounted and flag flying in less than 15 minutes. This is a very sturdy flag pole and pole holder and quality made flag set. So far I have not had to go out in the wind and untangle it with the 360° grommet set up. Easy assembly! Great quality. Took me a while to pick a flag kit out. Made the right choice. Used tapcon concrete screws to mount. Be sure to drill holes in brick, not the mortar joints!

The flag and flagpole are both very nice, for the money. The flagpole is stout and the flag has a nice appearance. The mount itself also seems well-made. My only knock on this set are the included screws: they are incredibly cheap and strip almost immediately when using a power drill, even when I set the torque down to try and prevent it. Consider buying higher-quality screws before mounting. ... show more

If you like to show your pride for the United States, this heavy, well-made flag and pole will do the job. Most people don’t know that a heavyweight flag won’t bind up or wrap around the pole like a cheap flag will. This heavyweight embroidered flag meets that criteria. The only thing I didn’t like was that the pole is in separate pieces, what I don’t like about that is that if someone tries to steal it they can just pull it off the mount. I fixed it by epoxying the pieces together just in case someone tries. Overall it’s the perfect size and it’s well made, if for some reason I need to replace it, I would buy the same item again. ... show more

However, I've only had it for a month, and I'm already encountering some disappointing issues. The ends of the flag are fraying where it's stitched, and the stitches are coming loose. It's frustrating to see the flag deteriorate so quickly, especially since it looked great initially. I expected much better durability and quality from this product. Seeing the flag's sad, worn-out appearance after such a short period is quite disheartening. I took great care in choosing this product, and I’m really let down by how it's holding up.
