This was advertised as a nursery bookshelf, however, I wanted to display my perfume bottles on the outside (side) of my linen closet cabinet, next to the sink. It works perfectly. The other two I put on the outside (side) of my cabinet panty in the kitchen to hold cook books. again, perfect. SO .. it is not just for a child's room or children's books, but can be used for different displays/purposes. The pine contrasts with my old Oak wood and it sets it off -- drawing your eye. A definite positive. I gave a 4 start on the install because the screws were too long for my uses and extended well into my cabinets causing a potential injury if I should brush against them when finding something inside the cabinet, so my handyman snipped off what he could and I covered the points left with a bit of styrofoam and tape, easy fix. I highly recommend, you can't beat this price either. I'm thrilled with the results. ... show more
