Margot has ruined the default Barbie for me. I wish she was the new face model. The dress and hair are great. The fabric feels higher quality than standard Barbie clothes. She comes with a surprise pair of cloth underwear. The heels are great but too soft; not sure how to fix that. They bend in toward the toe.

What’s not to love. She’s perfect… I’m sure the little girl I bought it for will love it. I know she’s meant to look like the woman in the move but I prefer the original Barbie face. Just my opinion though. She’s still so cuuuuuuute!

Of course when the Barbie movie came out my kiddo just had to have the Barbie doll from the motion picture. It came and did not disappoint. The hair was in place and there were no rips or missing parts. It was a lovely addition to my kiddos wide collection of Barbie dolls.

I bought all the Barbie The Movie dolls, before I even had to opportunity to watch the film, and I'm astonished at what a great job they did in both the design and quality of this doll! The doll has beautiful and clean good quality paint job on her face without pixels, her hair style caused quite a controversy, with her curled bangs not being very authentic to the actress's look in the film, however after seeing her up close I think they are quite adorable this way, and it reminds me of the bangs that vintage Barbies used to have, back in the day! And although she doesn't have 'Made To Move' articulation, she is articulated enough to be a pleasure to pose around, personally I enjoy this type of articulation better, as the joints look less visible in photography. After finally watching the film, I'm now also really happy at how great they've captured the essence of both the actress, Margot Robbie and the clothes she wears in the film, this outfit is one of the most memorable in the film, as its features in possibly some of the coolest earlier scenes, no spoilers, lol! The price on her is a bit more affordable than the rest of the dolls, and you're actually getting the same quality as the rest of the dolls that are far pricier, so she's highly recommend~! If you or the person who this is destined for as a gift is a fan of the film, they will probably fall completely in love with her~!

The doll is gorgeous! I share Barbie's name, both first & last & I played with her as a child. The price was great here so I decided to indulge. I planned to remove it from the box, I don't have any need to keep her boxed. Except....It took me literally close to 30 minutes to remove it! I can't believe no one else mentioned this. I used a box cutter, scissors & tweezers & still haven't been able to remove the attachments from the back of the head. Not sure I'll even be able to. I think some sharp child's scissors might help with that. A tiny pair of scissors is needed. I can't get it with my regular scissors. I can't fathom how other people are managing this. I'm assuming she isn't intended to be removed. I watched one of the "unboxing" videos & the person skipped the actual process & didn't mention anything regarding how to go about it. I took one star off for that but the doll is amazing. One of the shoes was loose & came off, will need to get some glue to attach it back.
