This is a beautiful doll. Her long, black and white gown is poofy, but not too poofy for me (I don't like my dolls' outfits to take up too much space for me to have room to display them!). She has an adorable, sassy look on her face like she's thinking, "I know something you don't know." LOL. The gloves are great. I kind of wish the sunglasses hadn't come attached to the doll's head, but it's not as though I have a better idea about how best to package those with a collectible doll. Her shoes are backless, but they still don't come off as easily as some other shoes for collectible dolls. They've left some little dents on her feet because getting backless shoes to stay on the doll without rubber bands requires some tightness, but those marks should be covered up by any shoes that are put on the doll anyway, so it doesn't bother me. I am a collector who likes to take the dolls out of the boxes, so I don't concern myself too much with the condition of the box. That said, it was sent in a Barbie shipper box *inside* an Amazon box, so the inner box arrived in perfect condition. And the best part: HER HAIR. It is spectacular. It's in long, curly twists (not braids, twists - and no, I don't really know the technical term for the style, I just know it isn't braided). And it's soft! No other Barbie I've ever seen has hair like this. If not for her amazing hair, I probably would not have bothered with the doll, even if the rest of the features are pretty great. I held off on getting her for quite a while because of the price, but I knew if I just kept waiting it would only go up, so eventually there was a pretty good deal and I just went for it. She is so gorgeous! I like the iconic design on her dress and her glasses, along with really cute gloves. Her hair is really long and of nice quality. She does have a top rooted mid part, so restyling her hair will be fun. Her face paint is flawless with sapphire blue eyes, and begonia red lipstick. I gave this product 4 stars because, for her price of almost $60, she should have a more poseable body. It doesn't necessarily need to be a MTM body, but a least like the articulation of a Barbie Extra doll. Her torso is pretty realistic with the neck and clavicle bones, and the rib cage and abdomen are very feminine IMO. Also, her shoes will not stay on, so I secured them with elastic clear bands from the packaging. BTW I switched her to a MTM body using the blonde ponytailed Barbie with the mixed fuchsia, purple pink yoga pants and purple pink top. Perfect match! ... show more
