The wheelchair, as well, is very well made, even for younger Barbie lovers. Our oldest son was born with cerebral palsy. He passed away (very hard words to say) before our granddaughter was born. We always taught her about her "Uncle Randy". The older she became, the more questions she had. One day she came in from school to visit. She was excited to tell me about the new Barbie in wheelchair. We started looking for this Barbie. She immediately saw it on Amazon. I initially purchased it to tell her another stage in Uncle Randy's life, all the way down to a sprained ankle, which someone may need a wheelchair, even for a short time. I personally would rate this Barbie a 5-star, as stated above, all joints move, making ease in changing outfits! Thank you Amazon for stocking this awesome Barbie as a great family learning tool, as well as the 5 star Barbie with the move able joints. Very HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

Barbie has been around for a billion years and I know why. Barbie’s are nicely made and appeal to young kids. I love how Barbie produced this precious Barbie in a wheel chair. Our granddaughter wanted this on specifically so of course we got it for her. She still enjoys playing with it and it seems to be holding up well.

This doll would be a great deal at full price considering her wheelchair and made to move body. She is well made, cute face and includes a wheelchair that fits all sizes of Barbie. Mattel has improved these newer versions with easier to pose joints. They feel heavier, but I cannot confirm that because I do not have an older one to weigh and compare . I personally like the slacks and longer dresses on the wheelchair dolls, that would be my only suggestion. I say that because my late step sister was a paraplegic and that was all she wore.

I got this for my 5 year old niece who is obsessed with barbie. She was thrilled when she opened the box and exclaimed, "she's like Jackie at school" ( her classmate who uses a wheelchair) this barbie is a great learning tool even if you don't have a classmate in a wheelchair. Her other barbies are learning how to help this barbie with schoolwork and playtime.
